Did everyone have a good weekend?
Mine was really nice. Exhausting, but nice.
Friday night we didn't do anything. I was up most of the night with heartburn. Good times!
Saturday Dh and I took the boys to Galveston. We went to Palm Beach at Moody Gardens for a few hours and had so much fun. It was our first time there.
Then we went to a friend's beach house and hung out with them on the beach for a while. The boys had a blast playing in the water and sand.
It was really a great day. The kids didn't fight, we had a great lunch, and the drive there and back was nice and uneventful.
I should also add that DH works 7 days a week and this was the first Saturday that he has taken off in a very long time. The last time he was able to go to Galveston with us, Alex was 7 months old!
Saturday night I hung out with some cool nesties at the gtg. It was a lot of fun to see everyone.
Yesterday we stayed in our pj's all day. The boys painted pictures and made a book for their baby sister. It was pretty laid back and relaxing.
Re: Weekends Highs and Lows?
Friday night we drove up to DH's parents for the weekend.
Visited his grandmother in the nursing/rehabilitation home (she broke her leg) and then went to lunch.
We drove out a little bit to visit with a friend and his family for a few hours then came back and worked on projects.
DH's dad build me a mantel shelf so we finished that up and I'm VERY excited to hang it tonight and decorate!
Went to dinner that night for his Dad's birthday and then just relaxed the rest of the night. Sunday we went to church then drove down to Beaumont to visit Jack's best friend and his family. Had a really yummy dinner with them then headed home. Got to the house at about 9pm.
Only bad thing about it all was so much driving we did. My butt is numb lol.

Highs: lots of quality time with my family...saw all of our local extended family too.
Lows: struggling with some of my family members and not sleeping enough because of the stress. Lots of work to do and feeling off and unable to get through it.
Highs: My house is clean, my laundry is done, my shopping is done and my yard is mowed. The nestie GTG was so much fun and totally worth the drive for me. And Father's Day was a success.
Lows: Drama with the x-H and I miss my older girls so much that I had an anxiety attack over it yesterday.
High: we did a whole lot of nothing while our house is being repainted.
Lows: saturday night i had a (minor) anxiety attack... i think saturday it sunk in that i was really pregnant and i started to "worry" about everything... money, needing a new car, that we'd hate our newly painted house, work, etc. That knot in my gut is still hanging around and i don't know how to shake it.
Highs: Had a great week in Cancun, picked up Prince Picasso and relaxed yesterday.
Lows: came home from Cancun on Saturday night, missed the nestie gtg at my family's restaurant, want to go back to Cancun.
Highs: Date with the kids Friday night; Used our Living Social Picture People deal on Saturday and got some great pics; GTG was really fun and I think I may be addicted to empanadas; picked up my BFF's 14 year old daughter and her BFF for the week.
Lows: Just general anxiety lately has in knots.
highs: Dinner out with the family Friday night, mom came into town Saturday, Sunday we lounged around
lows: dad is not doing well, hate my job, cannot seem to find enough time in the day to get everything done

1/17/10 Chevron Half Marathon 2:09:08
2/27/10 ConocoPhilips Rodeo Run 10K 1:10:49
highs: USMNT won and are playing in Houston Wednesday, did some superwoman-type house cleaning Saturday, watched about half of the My So-Called Life season on netflix over the course of the weekend. Jordan Catalano = Swooon.
lows: new dog is working my last bit of patience; DH and I had our first ever legit, big blow-out fight Saturday night. We've been together 5 years, so I guess it was time. You couldn't cut the tension in our house right now with a chainsaw. :-/
Highs: Had an awesome baby shower for my brother and his family and loved spending time with everyone. The theme we came up with was carried out perfectly, we had a funny little "homemade" photo booth for everyone to be a little silly and take a picture home at the end of the party. Got to take a whole family picture at the end of the day, which I know will make Mom happy to have a framed copy of. DH's parents came down yesterday and we enjoyed a great brunch and checked out the Rainforest Pyramid at Moody Gardens - it was awesome and I got some more GREAT pictures
Lows: Not much... we're on mandatory water rationing and my yard is burned to a crisp. I'm really worried we're going to have to re-sod the whole thing next year. I hope we get rain tomorrow, but rain will also ruin things for me at work, so it's both good and bad.
You sneaky sneak!!!!
'CONGRATS!!!
Lots of highs this weekend, it was pretty fantastic.
Friday night: Dinner with a wonderful friend who I haven't had 1-on-1 time with since Superbowl Sunday.
Saturday: DH & I finished painting our stairway, literally a huge accopmlishment. And we got all the decor hung up in the living room. I already want to change something though
Then Saturday night I had a really fun evening out at the GTG.
Sunday: Church, followed by lunch with a couple we adore & never hung out with outside of a group setting. Loved spending time with them. Then DH hung up a new light fixture in the breakfast room & the curtains in our bedroom. I worked on the picture gallery wall over our staircase & got it about half done (just need to buy some more black frames). Also, had a fun little date with DH to see Pirates of the Carribean.
Low: Waiting for AF to show up so we can start clomid.
High: Got to spend some time with the family and ran 7 miles on Sunday. I didn't think I would make it because it was so freaking hot outside, but it wasn't bad at all.
Low: Not much... didn't have a chance to finish my craft table. Will work on it this week though.

~~PGAL/PAL Always Welcome!~~
highs - lots of pool time; threw a big bbq for family Saturday night and my kitchen wasn't a disaster after everyone left - that's a first! J got some free time to take his motorcycle out and play around.
lows - hit up three stores to find bird block, and all were out. flooded the backyard because I forgot to turn the sprinkler off - watch me be the only person in Texas who loses her vegetable garden to drowning in a drought. My terrible mom moment: I missed a spot on one of Landry's shoulder twice and she got a sunburn
Highs: we had an overall nice, relaxing weekend. DH loved his Father's Day gifts and the photos I gave him turned out way better than I expected. We spent Saturday in Galveston and went to the Rainforest Pyramid and had a nice dinner. Nobody fought, everyone was happy and there were no meltdowns.
Lows: Our life is just really stressful right now and it's like there's a cloud of doom hanging over us that we can't seem to shake.
Highs: got a much needed pedicure AND DS sat on my lap the whole time
Went to see a friends new house and had dinner with them - the kids had a blast playing.
Took DS to the zoo. Even though he wasn't sure what was going on, he had fun running around and playing
Had our 18 month appt, saw a different pedi who finally agreed we may have allergies!!! I know I shouldn't be excited that my kid has allergies, but we can finally do something about the 9monthlongcold he's had.
Lows: Friday sucked big hairy donkey balls. It caused me to be in a farily crappy mood all weekend, though I tried to suck it up most of the time. I still couldn't shake this cloud of gloom.
