cleaning sink
What do you use to clean your ceramic (I think thats what kind it is) sink. I usually wipe it down with soap and water every night, but it has stains on it now that are not coming off with that. Thank you.

We have stainless at my new house but had white at my parents house.
Every few weeks or so, my dad plugs the drain and fills the sink about 2" with warm water, adds some bleach and then adds another 2-3" of warm water. Let it sit for a few minutes and use a scrub brush with a longer handle to gently rub on the stains....works like a charm!

DH had lived in the condo for about 5 years before we got married. He listed it the day we got married. The realtor actually suggested we needed to buy a new sink and hire a professional cleaner. I spent a weekend cleaning the sink & stove & fridge. The surface of everything was clean, but DH just used dish soap & water to clean everything. Soft Scrub and lots of elbow grease made everythign shiny & new looking, including the white sink! I prefer the lemon scented with bleach.
Soft Scrub works well on white ceramic sinks.
Ajax, warm water and a sponge with an abrasive side.
We have a white ceramic sink too. Ours stains horribly. I wash it nightly with soap and water, but have to use straight bleach ~once a week. I just pour it in and let the bottom soak.
So much for all natural cleaning.
