Are you the one who currently works in reproductive rights?
I just got a look at the military's new policy for blocking websites. ?They're going to block all access to anything about abortion. ?It's a specific category. ?They still have a safe sex category, and most of those will be permitted, but they're separating access to medically accurate information about abortion as something which will be denied. ?Which makes me think that safe sex info is effectively denied as most of those websites do mention abortion. ?This doesn't surprise me, but it seems like something an activist or watchdog group would take on.
And for fun, religion and the separate category of alternate spirituality/occult will pretty much all be permitted.
They have a phrased plan, and safe sex access drops off before access to religion.
Is this something that you or someone you know can work on??
Re: hrparker
Ha. ?Hahahaha. ?Ha. ?You thought the military wasn't a religious organization. ?H gets emailed weekly, Christian devotionals. ?Whether he wants them or not.
I actually was just reading about an Atheists in Foxholes press conference before I read your comment. ?I wonder if they would block that. ?Does it fall under religion? ?Or military affairs? yet another category that's specified that actually drops off before religion does.
ETA I missed another part of it. ?They're going to block anything on "sexuality and fetishes." ?Because being gay is a fetish. ?Oh, unless there's overlap with weapons in which case sexuality and fetishes are perfectly ok. ?My god. ?How can we be a part of this corruption?!?
