Are you in DC, MD, or VA?: Live in MD, work in DC, so I'm in DC at the moment. I lived in DC for 10 years, and if H hadn't already owned a house in MD, we'd be in the city.
Do you love it? I don't love our neighborhood, but there are several nearby neighborhoods I love, and we hope to move in the next couple of years.

When is the last time you saw the sun rise? Was it from being up all
night or waking up much too early? Probably sometime in the winter when the sun rises late and I'm up taking the dog for her morning walk.
Any new and exciting news you'd like to share? My former co-worker, who I worked with very closely, was recently arrested because the IRS accidentally deposited $110k into his account, and instead of returning it, he spent it.
What do you want to be when you grow up? Still working on that, I figure it out as I go along. There's no master plan here.
What is your best childhood memory? My grandparents had a player piano, and at the end of family parties my entire extended family would gather around it for what could be considered an early version of karaoke. We always, always sang, "I Can't Smile Without You," and "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue."

Do you love it? Yes- Alexandria is great! I can't imagine living in MD now (we looked there a lot when we were getting ready to move here...no offense, it's just that we wouldn't have met our friends and found our church).

night or waking up much too early? On vacation at the beach last year. I chose to wake up that early though.

What do you want to be when you grow up? Still trying to figure that out... I thought I wanted to be a translator, but now I'm not so sure. My latest idea was starting my own greeting card company someday, since I made a lot of cards when I was younger. I even had my own logo.
What is your best childhood memory? Summers at my grandfather's house. My BFF's grandparents lived next door, so we'd spend every summer day together. Specifically, my favorite memory is swinging and kicking our flip flops off, with the goal of getting them across the alley and onto her grandparents' driveway. That memory makes me so happy.
Do anything spontaneous lately? Unfortunately, no! I'm a planner, but I like some spontaneity.

What is your best childhood memory? Summers on Lake Champlain. I had no idea what a luxury it was to spend your whole summer at a beach house, playing in the water, picking wild flowers, having bonfires, reading books in a hammock and playing with friends.

night or waking up much too early? I would probably see it every morning if the apartment buildings near me weren't in the way, but the last time I remember seeing it was when we were up early on an overnight cruise in NZ in April.
