Today will be better. Today will better.
On the drive home another truck tried to run me off the road. Seriously, is my car invisible? I got lots of honks in yesterday.
Today our company is doing a fundraising event for the Heart and Stroke Foundation called the Big Bike. It's a giant bike for 29 people that we ride in a loop around part of town. It's fun, and we get out of work early, so yay.
Tonight we're heading into the city to take my dad and step-mom out for dinner in honour of Father's Day.
How is everyone today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Good Morning!
Good Morning,
Since I was able to get our homestudy drama taken care of yesterday, today we're focusing on the money issue. We just got the financial agreement today, and it's hard not to think it's impossible, but we'll get it done. People spend more than this on cars!
I also plan on watching some girly movies tonight because Sean is working a double today. I am going to try to make it to Zumba, but this week just has a lot of running around that needs to get done for Myles.
In other news, Daisy has lost almost all of her puppy teeth, how do I know? I've stepped on at least 5 in the last 2 days.
Good morning!
I'm pretty cranky today, I won't lie. I'm sore from a slip I took over the weekend, I have students who STILL haven't turned work in (report cards are being printed tomorrow), and the student who I had to call CAS about had a meltdown in my office yesterday for an hour and a half.
Also, I tried to rearrange my birth control pills so that I wouldn't be on my period when we're in Hawaii, and instead of skipping my period, I've now had it for 3 weeks straight. I miss sex. Like. A LOT.
I'm hoping today will be better - I only have 5 teaching days left this school year and cannot WAIT for them to be over and done with.

Good morning! Today I've already spent nearly two hours in a meeting, listening to feds ramble on when work needed to get done. My boss and I just looked at each other, and then he sent me the text message, "Aren't you glad you're leaving this?"
Last night was low key--we did laundry, had a small dinner, H talked to his brother on the phone. Tonight my book club is meeting to talk about A Visit from the Goon Squad, so that should be fun, but it's been nearly two months since I've read it--need to refresh my memory during lunch!
Kaesha - I've done the same thing with my bcp in the past, totally sucks!
Good morning! Last night was extremely uneventful, we stopped at Chipolte for dinner then went to bed at 8:30. I'm feeling much better this morning, yesterday I felt like a zombie.
Tonight I'd like to get a good workout and get my meal planning and grocery list put together.
That's what I tell myself every time I start to freak out about the IVF.
I think the interview went pretty well this morning. I don't really care if I get it or not, so that helped me feel more relaxed about it. The THREE people I interviewed with all seemed personable and like they would be nice folks to work with. The job would definitely be a stretch for me, but I think I would enjoy it.
I am gratefully back in my flip flops (I hate real shoes). Today is just a normal day at work, but filled with meetings today. Nothing much planned for the rest of the day. I'd like to get some knitting done, since I spent last night watching the season finale of The Killing. I was quite disappointed with AMC on that one.

Good morning,
Yesterday was a busy day for me. I think I was at my desk for 1.5 hours all day. I was running around so hard. I also had a productive time at home. Before work I got in a good workout. Came home decided to go running again. It's becoming addicting to run through the neighborhoods. I didn't realize what I was missing on a treadmill.
Came home, cleaned up and started dinner then Dh came home and wanted to go for a walk. We ended up walking 3 or so miles. So I was a pretty pooped pup.
Who knows what is on the plan for tonight.
Reba - I'm glad it went well! Keep us posted.
Last night was low key. I'm generally not clumsy, but I caught my heel on the step of the light rail (train) last night and went falling forward, trying to stop from falling in someones lap or down the stairs I tried to catch myself and twisted my shoulder. I can't lift my arm straight up or out past shoulder level.
After the fall shenanigans and not getting the bus I wanted, I decided to take myself for a beer and grab a burger and head home since DH is OOT.
Tonight is the final walk-through with the painters. They did an amazing job.
Today will be better. Yes.
DH snored like a grizzly bear last night, so I spent more than 2 hours awake in the middle of the night. Ugh - I need to sleep so badly and I can't.
Our boss' secretary passed away yesterday, so everyone on the floor is sad today. She's been fighting cancer for 1.5 years, and it wasn't unexpected, but we will miss our friend. I've worked with her for more than 10 years, and our boss has worked with her for 20.
On a positive note, we're going on a camping trip with our BFF couple friends this weekend, and it will be fun.
Have a great day, everyone!
Morning Ladies.
Las night, I did some laundry and packed for my trip to Ohio this weekend. DH worked late so I went to bed fairly early.
Today is a normal work day as usual and then heading home. I am secretly hoping DH's softball game is cancelled tonight due to weather so he isn't home late again.
Have a great day ladies!
Good morning/afternoon all. Yesterday evening was pretty chill. B and I caught up on some tv while surfing the internet for medicine cabinets, toilet paper holders, bathroom lights, and the like. Did you know that there are companies out there who sell medicine cabinets for $2,000. I mean these things look cool and all, but I can't imagine ever spending that kind of money on a medicine cabinet.
Anyway, today should be a fairly quiet yet productive day at work. It's a bit like the lull before the storm that is coming next week. I'm trying to take advantage of it while I can.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Good afternoon ladies!
Sorry I haven't been around much. Paul's grandpa died unexpectedly on Thursday so the weekend was crazy busy. Sunday was the two visitations and Monday was the funeral/burial. I struggled a bit being on my feet alot over those two days, but I'm home today and trying to take it easy. I have done dishes and laundry but I don't plan on doing much else.

This morning has been a crazy morning.
Yesterday went great. We took Jordan to camp and the excitment on his face was priceless. I can't wait to pick him up thursday and hear all about it and see him. I didn't cry at all hardly when we took him, but I did cry last night. In 6 1/2 years last night was the first night I have not talked to him before going to bed. He is growing up so fast and I am so proud of the boy he is. I hope he has a great time this week. Preston only said bubba 100 times last night and this morning. We are all excited for Thursday in my house.
Tonight will be clean night and getting ready to pack for Florida. I can't wait for vacation in two weeks.
Good Afternoon Ladies.
Lastnight was uneventful. The boys were full of it, and destroyed my living room last night, so after they went down, it was cleaning.
Poor DH was up until almost 3:00 a.m since he worked the night before. He is not adjusting to the night shift very well, so on his days off, he is exhausted. I truly felt bad since he only got about 3 hours sleep before i had to wake him up so I could leave for work. I am praying when I get home, that the boys were not pains today and took good naps for him.
Work is crazy, I am preparing for a training I have to provide to another department on Thursday (about 40 people) so between that, and trying to keep up with my own work. I am ready to pull my hair out and put a keg in my cubicle.
Have a great evening ladies.
I went for a walk last night, which was super painful. I'm hoping to go again tonight and maybe for a dip in the pool after. Depends what time DH gets home.
DH made a killer dinner last night, so I was in heaven with a fully belly of goodness. Tonight will hopefully be some corn on the cob and grilled meat of sorts. Yumm.
Today I got to go play at a plant nursery for a few hours, and it was amazing. I love flowers, and I love bringing them home for my house even more. I got a big hibiscus plant with huge red flowers on it. I'm hoping it blooms for a while. I hate just looking at leaves.
Another vet appointment for my furbaby tonight, so keeping my fingers crossed her numbers are back up and her liver is handling all these meds. I don't want any more complications.
Quick post and run (I'll read all the other posts later)
Today was problem filled at work but the time flew by. We also had a strawberry social in the afternoon so I had a nice snack.
After we got home, I got in a super quick 4.5mile run but it's 84 degrees and 74% humidity out so it was disgusting and hard. Now i'm off to the pharmacy residents graduation party to have pizza. Yum.
