Back in court today.
A Botanist is on the stand right now. She says that the body was only in the location it was found for 2 weeks..She can tell this due to "leaf litter".
State is questioning her now trying to disprove this theory.
It doesn't look good that this lady says only 2 weeks. However, that doesn't mean that Casey didn't do it. It just means she didn't hide her well enough and someone else found her.(ahem kronk)

I did not like that lady. She was kind of a mess. Although, even if the jury doesn't believe what she had to say, pulling experts who have different opinions than the state's experts on the timeline and how things happened isn't a bad strategy - the jury just has to see that things are open to interpretation. That may very well be enough.
Jeff Ashton is far too smug for my tastes. He bugs me.

Funny......the WFTV "talking heads" had a spot on analysis of the day with "Jose is running around like Wiley Coyote with a stick of dynamite in his hands and it keeps blowing up in his face."

Really? That is hilarious! I got to watch for an hour today and they were at lunch. Then I came home and this guys voice put me to sleep like a hard brick. Does anyone else think he sounds like Ben Stein? So I just woke up and it says "Live" and it's after 5. Are they going late today?
