Birth Story
We were talking about labor and things in the chat last night so I decided to FINALLY scan in my birth story that my doula typed up. It is long (4 pages single spaced) so that is why I haven't posted it. If anyone is interested I would be happy to email it to you just leave your email or PM me.

Brava, my dear! It sounded like you were a complete trooper and very very strong and positive.
My one question: Were those crackers really the only thing you got to eat while in the hospital? I'm not sure how OK I will be with that. :P
We went for ice cream with some friends around 10pm Thursday night and I had Mr. Goodcents at 1pm Saturday. I had a handful of Ritz Bitz Peanut Butter crackers inbetween...I was starving and fairly weak.
I know you have to be empty in case of any emergency surgery, but damn that sucks. So is it legal to make a run to McDonalds for a Double Quarter Pounder meal on the way to the hospital?

DO IT! Had I known I was going to be in labor for that long I would have ate before I left the house. I wasn't supposed to eat the crackers, but when I asked the nurse if I could she said "What crackers?" and winked at me and left the room!
