Verizon iPhone - Tell me about your bill
I've done the initial estimate of monthly costs to upgrade to the iPhone, but with all the "hidden" fees and varriable data plans I'd like to hear from y'all about *actual* monthly bills.
If willing, please tell me what your monthly plan is in terms of # of minutes (individual, family, etc), data plan, text package (is text included or separate), and total monthly bill that includes fees and taxes.
For example: $141/month -- $89/mo for 1400 mins, $30 data pak, $10 text pkg, $12 in taxes, etc.
TIA!
Re: Verizon iPhone - Tell me about your bill
Family plan with DH and I
1400 minutes, nationwide talk = $62.40
Email and Web for Smartphone (unlimited data) = $23.99
500 texts + unlimited incoming texts = $10
Wireless surcharges = $5.25
Taxes+fees = $8.07
Total for my phone = $109.71
his phone total = $54.39 (data plan+texts)
So Tasty, So Yummy
My iphone is actually cheaper than my Black Berry. The data package is less. I don't see any hidden fees. They also have a new plan where all mobil calls are free (basically any phone any carrier that's not a land line). This has allowed us to cut down our minutes A LOT.
(this is for 2 iphones and a regular phone) strait from our bill:
Mobile Any Mobile FS text, 1400 land $110
Email and Web for smart phone $29.99
Email and Web for smart phone $29.99
Mobile Any Mobile Shared Line $9.99
Taxes, Gov Charges and Fees $16.96
(we get another 22% discount through work that comes off the top (not including fees))
Thanks for posting! Interesting how different rates can be for, essentially, the same services, eh? I think I'm currently paying $89/mo for the FS Nationwide talk 1400 min plan, plus all the data and text stuff. That reflects a 15% corporate discount. I have my mom on my plan so my monthly bill comes out to around $150-60/mo.
PAGAS: Is your plan on a corporate discount as well or just grandfathered from an older package level?
