Goooood Morning!

Holy poop I'm tired.  I think I need to take a day off soon to just sleep and recharge.  Our weekends have not been very restful as of late.

Yesterday's Big Bike ride was super fun.  I was supposed to to head into Toronto after to have dinner with my dad, but something with work came up with Derek and we had to cancel.  Again.  I feel like this is the week of all plans getting canceled.

Oh well.  Tonight?  Who knows.  I sort of just want to sleep.

How is everyone today?

  • Happy Wednesday,

Today we have our first homestudy meeting today with our agency. We also have a rummage sale going on, and I just started another fundraiser for the site. We have made a lot of stuff happen in the past 24hrs that I didn't think was possible. Honestly I can't wait to just relax before Myles comes home.

Also today,Sully woke me up by farting loudly in my face, it was the most foul smelling thing ever!

  • Happy Hump Day!  It's Wednesday, so that means the weekend is in sight.  I don't have anything planned for today.

I got some knitting done last night, so I am almost finished with the scarf I am making for Jim and I think I will finish it tonight.  I have 46 rows to go.  This is my third piece and the first one with a pattern.  I flipped sides a couple of times, but overall, I'm pretty proud of myself.  I think I'm almost ready to start working on Christmas presents.

  • I had a good night last night. I got in another good workout. I feel like I'm finally starting to see some results. Otherwise, I took care of a few things around the house and watched the storm that we had. It was another big storm and there were tree limbs down all around my neighborhood again this morning.

Today is another day at work. Overall just more of the same tonight at well. Hopefully another workout and taking care of a few things around the house. Being busy on the weekends is really starting to catch up with me as I feel like I'm constantly needing to work on the house during the week and never get a break.

  • Pretty good night. DH cooked another good meal for us. I had some stuffed chicken with herbed goat cheese and ham, and then some amazing corn on the cob. I should've just eaten a few ears of that and called it a night, but I guess protein is sort of essential every once in a while. I also managed to get a few errands done at the mall and made it to the vet all in one piece. Still not so great news, but I'm just trying to stay positive and hope they figure something out. Did I mention her brother is sick now, too? Super diarrhea butt. I think he's on edge from all the trips to the vet that she takes and the fact she's really not herself. Dogs are so finicky sometimes.

Tonight I hope to just put in a movie and crash. It's raining and a perfect day for a lazy afternoon. DH is on crunch time with deadlines at work, so I probably won't see him until late anyways.

In the meantime, I'm hoping my bowl of fruity pebbles cheers me up.

  • Good morning! Nothing much going on over here--just doing wrap up stuff at this point at work. The past two days have been pretty busy here, so I'm hoping it tapers down in a bit.

Last night was fun--my book club met and we ate dinner at Matchbox (a nice pizza place here), then went home and hung out with the H for a while. Came home to an invite to a bat mitzvah in Florida this summer. The invite was cool--it came printed on seed paper, so I'm going to hit Target for a planter and some soil to see what happens. I don't have a green thumb at all, but I'm curious!

Hope everyone has a great day. :)

  • Mo-I love the name Myles!

Rebann- I wish I could learn to knit. I would love to make Preston and Jordan matching winter hats for pictures. I am pretty sure Jordan would hate it, but it would be so cute!

Last night was good I got some pictures put in pictures frame and the rest of the laundry put away. Jordan comes home tomorrow and I could not be more excited :)

I tried to teach myself many times, but I am spatially challenged.  It took someone actually showing me before I got it.  There are only two basic stitches, so once you get that down, it's just practice.  My first project was a hat.

  • Happy hump day! Last light a group of us from work went to my bosses house to have drinks on there patio and make plans for our upcoming golf tournament we're sponsoring. J also stopped by for drinks and measured their kitchen and bathrooms so he can install some granite for them. We didn't leave their place until after 8:30 so I'm draggin ars today!

Nothing exciting  today just work and house stuff. I hope to get a workout in too, it feels like it's been ages since I last worked out.

  • Good Morning! The past few days have been super busy with the school year wrapping up, but I can now officially say I am on summer vacation! Today will be spent lounging around, and if I get motivated enough, going for a run.

My SIL (who has been living with us while completing her residency) is making dinner tonight - linguini and clam sauce. Can't wait!

  • Good Morning Ladies!

I am sick of the rain and did not want to get out of bed this morning because of the weather.

Last night, DH and I just got to relax a little. We had a nice dinner and then watched The Voice. I am starting to hate my couch in the loft, it is really uncomfortable and gives me backaches and headaches. I spent a lot of time trying to get comfortable. It might be time for a new couch or a recliner.

Tonight, I am packing for my trip to Ohio. I fly out tomorrow morning and can't wait. I hope to spend some time with DH too since I won't see him until Monday.

    Have a great day ladies!

  • Good morning!

Today is good. I got up early to go to a job site before I came in to the office. It looks and feels like it's going to be another ridiculously hot day.

Other than that nothing much going on. Running, cooking shows and sleeping. I'm pretty lame lately. Tonight I hope to go to the park though and fly a little model airplane. It's fun.

  • Morning everyone.  Last night was fairly chill.  B and I were lazy and ordered pizza and watch the movie Youth in Revolt.  It was pretty good.

This morning I woke up with a horrible headache, and there are protesters at the plaza across the street from my office, which is really not helping.  It looks like it's about to rain, so I am hoping that may scatter them soon.  Today should be a fairly normal day.

Hope everyone has a good one.

  • Morning ladies.

Well lastnight DH got a call that he was supposed to be at work.  He must have written down his schedule wrong. So needless to say he went in on having maybe 4 hours of sleep from the prior 24 hours, so today I am sure nothing will wake him up.  I do feel bad, but at the same time it means if the weather is crappy on Friday, I can come to work and save some time off instead of going to Story Land.

Today is much of the same. Work and lots of it.  Have a great day ladies.

crystal - I taught myself how to knit with youtube videos! You can totally do it.

One of our toilets has been randomly flushing lately, and this morning when I opened the dishwasher to put away my oatmeal bowl, I found that it was hot and steamy inside but completely empty. Neither V nor I ran the dishwasher last night.

I think we have a poltergeist.

Hey, a poltergeist that may potentially do the dishes for you doesn't sound so bad!  Maybe you can teach it how to use the vacuum too?

  • Today was long, but it was my last day in my classroom and I got in a run before work, so overall it has been a good day.  I have two days of training off site tomorrow and Friday and then a three day conference out of town next week, and then I am officially done for summer!

I'm tired and desperately need Saturday at home to organize.  I haven't had a weekend home for a month and a half and everything is a mess here--laundry is out of control, groceries have been piecemeal for weeks, I just need time to catch up on my life.  I think Ed and I are having Subway for dinner tonight because I just don't have anything to actually make for a meal...oh well.

  • I really just wanted to crawl back into bed first thing this morning.  I was late for work and forgot my lunch in the fridge at home and didn't sleep last night because we had a bit of basement leak issue.  We had a lot of rain last night and there were so many trees split in half on our way in to work this morning.

I figured the day would get better.  Not so much. One of my doctors was yelling at me and trying to bully me in to skirting around hospital policy but I wouldn't have any of it.  We don't allow concentrated potassium out of the ICU for a reason.

Now I'm home and waiting for it to cool down a bit before I run, but it might rain.  Blah.
