Did one of you mention that you get your diapers from Amazon, and that there's a way to get a really good deal on them? I was talking to my BFF who is pregnant, and I told her I couldn't remember the details, but I would ask. Thanks!

Re: Diapers on Amazon?
Thanks! So you can buy any brand/type of diaper this way? And the free shipping is just part of signing up for Amazon Moms?
I get the free shipping through Amazon Prime, but I dont know when or how I signed up for that. Maybe Krissy can help with that question. Every order I make now through Amazon adds to my Prime account and with every $25 I spend I get another month of free shipping. I think I have free shipping until December or something like that.
You can buy more most brands of diapers and also tons of other stuff.
The free shippin is 2-day shipping too which is fantastic! I should add that it is only free if it is being shipped from Amazon and not another dealer/seller.
I looked at the website, it looks like when you sign up for Amazon Moms, you automatically get a free 1 year prime membership. I didn't know about the $25/month extending your membership. That's a great deal! I have an Amazon Prime membership (I pay for it), and it's so worth it for me, would be even better to get it for free!
Thanks ladies! I passed this information on to the Mama-to-be!
Everyone pretty much covered everything, I just have a few other pointers. I use Swagbucks and then trade them in for amazon giftcards. Aso, since I bf, I trade formula checks I get in the mail on the Swap Spot board for coupons and Amazon 10% or $10 coupons when they are in season. Some people trade for Amazon giftcards.
I cancel my subscribe and save as soon as it ships. Oh, subscribe to blogs like Money Saving Mom and their Facebook feed and they let you know when Amazon offers sales and extra discounts.
I get diapers, wipes, diaper genie refills, bottles, breast milk storage bags, basically everything...even nursing bras count as baby items to extend your free prime membership. I love having the free 2 day shipping and buy everything - even toiletries for me -- on Amazon now.

Everyone pretty much said everything. I do have a few things to add. They changed the free shipping so it isn't 2 days anymore for diapers. I think it is 3-5 days. I got my last shipment at 3 days I believe. They sent an email about changing it b/c they were having issues getting diapers out in 2 days. Still a great deal though, just have to make sure you don't wait to order them. I think my last box of baby drys (170count or something) was $31. The coupons were awesome, but they haven't printed them in a long time.
Also - Amazon Prime membership can only be extended up to 12 months past your first membership period. So, I have mine extended through November, but that is the longest I can get it free I believe. I will have to pay for it after that. I probably will b/c free shipping on the diapers is great and when we have baby # 2 we will still use it.
I have compared buying diapers on Amazon to all other stores (Target, BRU, BJs, supermarkets etc) and with the free shipping it is the best deal!

that could be. I know when I looked for diapers, it was actually cheaper for me to get it from either Sam's Club for Newborns and Diapers.com for the higher sizes. But we buy our diapers in the jumbo packs. Like a box of 254 or something. Maybe I am looking it up wrong on Amazon though...
