Rock, and anyone else who knits or crochets
Re: Rock, and anyone else who knits or crochets
Of course!
Same screen name as here.
Oh my gosh. Your stuff is AMAZING!!
I just added my most recent couple of things last night. I joined a while ago and I never added projects, so I only have a few.
Although I am a PW now that I'm going for the gold haha
Eh, whatever, this board isn't exactly suffering from too many posts! You can post on the Crafts board too for a couple of extra posts towards Gold
We love PIPs over there.
But I've posted all of my things at one point or another and it'll just be obnoxiously repetitive if I do it again.
But here are the two Hello Kitty ones for those people who see your post and wonder what you're talking about
This one was for my sister, who was born in the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac:
And this one was for a friend born in the Year of the Rabbit:
Oh Rock, those are so amazing. Seriously!! How long do they take you?
And for some reason, I'm afraid of the Crafts board. I think I'm not crafty enough.
Dude, the Crafts board is probably the friendliest National board there is (though D&R is pretty puppies and rainbows too). Seriously, hang out there; the ladies are great and there's lots of inspiration. Oh, and a great place to ask questions if you ever get stuck on a pattern or something. You're plenty crafty enough, trust me.
The crochet part of amigurumi is pretty fast and easy (especially now that I've done so many of them). It's the sewing together part that's a PITA. So start to finish time is mostly dependent on how many pieces there are.
