good morning, ladies. hope you all had a nice evening!
i had pottery from 6-10. it was fun, but 4 hours is too long. i am exhausted--10 is my bedtime! i go back in two weeks for a glazing class and glaze my pot 
we have a bbq at work today, and i made cupcakes because we are celebrating two birthdays. yum.
3-4 mile run tonight. then grilling pork chops and making tabouli. except i forgot chick peas, so is it still tabouli?? then hopefully just relaxing with gerren and going to bed early.
is it friday yet? i want to leave for our weekend away!

Good Morning!
Last night I stopped by my Godparents' for a much needed stress free visit. I finally got home around 10, put a pizza in the oven and was asleep by 11.
We are still supposed to have wicked storms here today like yesterday. It would be a great day for sleeping, but there is no rest on tap for me today.
Hola! I'm exhausted this morning, but surprisingly in a decent mood. :-) I've spent the first part of my morning sitting out in our lobby trying to promote carpooling and alternate transportation to work since I lead our company's green team. Not as great of a response as I was hoping, but at least I'm planting seeds in people's minds. Mwah ha ha. :-)
Last night I did zumba, came home and K grilled some chicken skewers and I made cous cous. Yummy dinner, and then I worked on my pathetic attempt at a travel blog for our trips and crashed around 11. We're way too wild and exciting...
Was this pottery a one-time thing? I suck at creation but I want to do some sort of pottery or at least painting. Tell me more, chicken.

Last night I came home, changed, cleaned the bathroom, did a load of laundry, picked up a bit and packed lunch. Jenn picked me up and we went to Chic fil-a and then to the Mummers Museum for an outdoor concert. It was nice, and MFD did a solo.
After MFD tore a$$ through South Philly to hork down Pat's Steaks, we went home. I did another load of laundry and fell out around 12.
I put another load of laundry in before I left this morning, so tonight I just have to put it away. Blah. I shake my fist at laundry.
I wished hated SIL a happy birthday on FB. Good deed for the day done.
it was a one time class, my mom is a potter at the studio and she gave me a gift certificate for a class with the owner. i am not sure i would sign up for a series of classes, though it was fun and interesting. I would maybe take one or two more classes throughout a few years, but that is it. We did not use the wheel (this studio does everything free hand) and we learned a lot of techniques and i had a good time. it was just really long!

The pottery class sounds fun. We have something in Tampa but it's a painting class they have a schedule of what they are going to paint each night and you can sign up and they teach you how to make it. I have been dying to try it. I asked someone who has done it and you don't need to have any artist ablity which is great for me.
Last night I had left over pizza and watch TLC reality shows. Oh thoses Duggars. Besides that I did nothing last night. I'm very glad it's hump day and tomorrow I get to sleep in a little bit because I have a baby doctor appointment at 9 and it's close to my house:)
I had a horrible day at work yesterday. Had to stay late and was not happy - didn't even want to cook dinner. I was going to go straight to bed, but watched White Collar which ended up distracting me and putting me in a better mood.
I just saw this on my local board and had to share it with you girls: Learn to Pick Your Battles I had to struggle not to laugh out loud, cause then my co-workers will think I'm even weirder than than they think.
Thank you for the vibes yesterday - not sure if I'll be selected but we shall see!
Anyway - it was probably 102 yesterday at my house
hot, hot, hot. I tried to cool off the critters by putting a few ice cubes in their water dish and wiping down with a cold towel. Allie the dog didn't seem to mind but I felt bad that poor girl was panting most of the night but she did drink water and eat her dinner. Didn't do much after I got home except sit in the house with the a/c on and since we only had 4 bbq charcoals & we were lazy to go to the store and then wait 1.5 hours to eat, ended up cooking dinner in the oven. Today after work, getting a few grocery items, cooking dinner and then going for a late run/walk once it's cooled off. Should be about 90 today, hollah.
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
omg...must find metal chicken.
I did find a giant metal rooster sculpture in Key West once. You could crawl up into it and sit in the "controller seat". Imagine my amusement when my very conservative mother saw photos ans asked, "where did you find that giant *** you're riding dear?"

Yay, humpday! I'm struggling not to be annoyed with people at work today. A guy from one of the counties asked us at the state for guidance yesterday. I left him a message at 4; he left me one today at 8. I was home puking my guts out (lovely!) so didn't make it in until almost 9, when I had a meeting. OF COURSE he called again, to the main line, at 9:30. Dude, can you chill for a minute?
But, here's my first bump picture - today at 18w1d. Eep, I'm getting huge!
Ha! That pick your battles post is hilarious! I totally love it.
And yay for pottery! I keep wanting to take a class. We have a fundraiser called Empty Bowl for the homless shelter I've been involved with, and last year we got to go to a pottery studio to make our own bowls. I did one on the wheel, and had a great time with it.
