Stromboli is a type of turnover filled with various cheeses, typically mozzarella, Italian meats such as salami, capicola and bresaola or vegetables. The dough is Italian bread dough. A stromboli is made with a square shaped pizza dough that can be topped with any pizza toppings and is then rolled into a log and baked.
Mine has pepperoni and mozarella. I'll even post a picture when it's done! Nom...

GAH!!! I know! I'm trying not to stress out but I can't believe it's coming so fast!
We have a date (Sept 17th) and we have a place (our house) but beyond that, I don't even want to think about it yet.... how about you?

Stromboli sounds freaky good!
And you are farther along in the birthday planning than I am, lol. Although it doesn't help that we'll probably be moving before then. Theres this little amusement park called Enchanted Forest near where we're looking to move, which would be fun. Theme..I'm kind of thinking about doing a mythical creature party, you know, for her name...but I haven't decided if thats cool or lame. Also, theres not much party stuff or favors out there in that theme (surprising, I know)

Not gonna lie, the stromboli was pretty awesome.
I could only eat half though -- the rest is saved for lunch tomorrow!

I love stromboli. I made tuna noodle casserole. Plan on doing chicken alfredo on Saturday.
Right now I'm pretty bored. Watching Hollywood Treasure on SyFy.
