Is it too late in the season to plant trees? I have no idea what the protocol is for things like this. We want to plant some kind of evergreen trees in our backyard, where are annoying neighbors think it's ok to park their cars (our yard borders two parallel streets, the one we are actually on and one that our backyard touches). I'm just not sure if we should have done it in the spring or if we can still plant them now.
Thanks!

Re: Is it too late?
You can plant anytime the ground is not frozen (preventing you from working the soil). I'm an Arborist and I prefer not to take entire seasons off, so I plant year round (we don't have many hard freezes here).
The single, MOST CRITCAL thing is adequate moisture. If you can water it deeply and thoroughly, plant those trees.
Thank you!
I have been wanting to plant these trees for months, but DH has put it off because of the annoying neighbors, we have been trying to come up with a "game plan" to avoid any nastiness with them--even though it is our yard!!
