Frigidaire Appliances?
My FIL is buying us a new stove for a housewarming present. Planning on spending around 800 from him and we are probably going to put 200 or 300 from us. So around 1000 to 1200 for the stove. Wondering if you are happy with your Frigidaire Stove. Its a toss up for us LG or Frigidaire, he threw us for a loop we weren't expecting anything from the IL's but now he is determined to get it. I don't want to just settle I want the best. Stainless for sure, and gas. Thanks everyone.

I have a Kenmore, so I'm little help, but I did look both up and I don't think you can go wrong with either.
Things I wouldn't change about my current stove: love the 5 burners-the middle one is long and perfect for a griddle or my huge grill pan, easy to clean, gas
I do wish I would have gotten one with a broil or warming drawer.
We have this LG range - purchased recently at Warners Stellian's scratch & dent sale. We LOVE it!

We bought Frigidaire appliances for our previous home about 3 years ago. We liked them. and I remember that they got good customer reviews on the Sears and Best Buy websites. They seemed to have the most features for the price. Honestly, you can probably get a pretty nice one for $800 without putting in any money on top of the gift from your FIL.
