I'm a happy girl!

DH is home!  DH is home!  He got to come home Saturday night.  He's sick and jet lagged and trying to get back on a daytime schedule, but I am SO happy he is home.  It's so neat how he was gone for a month and we just slip back into our every day routine like he was only gone a day or two :)

In other news, my doggy got attacked by another dog this morning, but he is fine.  My parents stayed the weekend, and they left this morning after I went to work.  Before they left, Dad was walking Crispin (my dog) and his dog, and this crazy dog got away from a neighbor's granddaughter and attacked Crispin - grabbed him and started shaking him!  But my dad was a total hero and TACKLED the other dog to save Crispin!  He didn't get bit, only a few scrapes, and Crispin is just fine.  Crazy, huh?

  • Yay! Glad that you're DH is finally home with you!

That's crazy that your dog got attacked. Poor little guy ... but at least he's ok!

  • Yahoo! for your husband is finally back home! I bet he is happy to be back to a normal schedule and to be at home, too.

That's really crazy about the other dog. Am glad to hear though that your dog, your dad's dog and your dad is ok, too. Do you know who the crazy dog belongs to? Can you complain?

  • Glad your H is finally back home with you.  No wonder you're a happy girl!

Glad your dog is ok too.  It's a scary experience!  Both of my dogs have been attacked before (separate occasions) and it was terrifying. You'll have to give him a little extra lovin tonight!

  • I've seen the dog and her owner out walking before, and the woman can barely keep the dog under control.  Like, I am concerned for her shoulder joint when she walks the dog.  But I don't know where she lives or anything, and I don't really know who I'd complain to.  I just know I have to be careful when I walk Crispin from now on!
  • great news about your hubby!! hope your dog is ok though

  • I hope your H can stick around for a while this time!

Sorry to  hear about Crispin... That happened to one of my friends last year.  She was holding her dog (a schnauzer) and a girl with a pit bull lost control of him.  He took down my friend and her dog.  Luckily her husband was able to get the other dog off.  The dog had to have surgery, couldn't walk for some time, and still needs help with stairs.  My friend's knee and shoulder got dislocated, and her husband was pretty scraped up.  So do be careful!

  • Yay for DH finally being home!! :-D And wow, what a story about your pup. Btw I love your doggie's name.
