Two things....
1) I just realized when I looked up your address to send coupons on that I plopped boxes in someone's back yard other than yours. LOL! I'll see if I can find more to actually give to you. (I wondered why you took your star down.)
2) How's your no carb diet going? What do you eat for lunches? I'm getting bored. All I really eat is meat and cheese with mustard. lol! It's working though! You too?

Re: borst-plotz
1.) ha! That's hilarious :-)
2.) Salads mostly, I'm only on day 3 though. I haven't even lost a lb, so I'm a little upset but I know it takes time. I just want to see some results! Have you found any great recipes? We are mostly just eating meat with a veggie for dinner but I know I need to find other ideas soon!
You will lose it.
That's the diet that never fails for me.
I've been putting our favorites in my cooking blog under low carb. Found a tasty marinade for beef, mushu chicken wraps are awesome if you like thai peanutbutter sauce, bacon wrapped chicken is hard not to like... I'm working on a LC BBQ sauce and a LC cheesecake recipe but haven't perfected them yet.My LC ice cream was a huge fail. ick. I hate using splenda because artificial sweeteners tend to build up in my system and give me migraines.
We do a lot of meat and veggies for dinner too. Thank goodness for fresh veggies at the farmers market.
I have to say that I'm so sick of salty food. Jello and water/tea with lemon seem to be my only departures from salt. ...although I guess it's good to always be thirsty.
Good luck!! You can do it!
ETA: Oh! and I just picked up a BH&G magazine for summer grilling. There are some great ideas in there.
I'll check out your blog. I need to figure out what to have for dinner tonight and better lunch ideas!
LMK if you find some good LC desserts. I haven't had any sweets yet-trying to keep myself away from sugar :-( I also get migraines from artificial sweetners.
I also gave up pop this week. What was I thinking giving up all my favorite food in one week!?
Can I join you with the low carb thing?
I'm not dropping any of the baby weight this time around and I think part of it is my body got used to being on the met.
I've been eating a lot of lettuce wraps. I cook chicken and throw some other veggies in with it and then some sort of sauce. They're sort of like the lettuce wraps you can get at PF Changs. The only carby thing I'm letting myself have is oatmeal, to help with my supply and to keep me from feeling like I'm starving in the morning! lol!
