I've had this portable DVD player for years but have never hung it from the headrest. I put it back in the case to put it in the car, but I am having trouble believing it won't just fall out once the car starts moving. This is what it looks like. Does yours have a case like this and does it really stay? Or am I doing something wrong? (Of course I've long since lost the manual)
Thanks
ETA: In case it's not quite clear, the black band across the middle is wide elastic and all that's holding it on at the bottom corners is a piece of thin elastic and a cord (just running next to each other) on each side. There is a heavy velcro strap on the backside of this contraption to go around the headrest.

Re: How does your portable DVD player attach to the headrest? PIP
Yeah, I think I get what you're saying. This is all mine came with. I think having the player perpendicular would put it within reach of Nicholas' feet, so this is probably a good thing. I went ahead and hung it on the seat and DH ran to the store and didn't even realize it was there, so I think it'll be ok. The wide piece of elastic seems to be doing a good job.
