WWYD re: baby and strep throat
We are supposed to head down to the Ozarks for the weekend w/my H's side and one of the kids that will be there was diagnosed early this week w/strep throat. They have been on meds since either Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Would you feel comfortable having your baby in the same house as the kid for two days?
I might call the pedi in the am to get their opinion.....

Re: WWYD re: baby and strep throat
Ditto. I'd worry b/c I'm a worrier, but it should be fine. And if it helps, strep is really rare in babies as young as Parker. Not impossible to contract, but highly unlikely. It is like one of the few illnesses that some how their little bodies don't pick up too easily.
Thanks ladies, this makes me feel much better. I was torn at first, I didn't want to be that mom that worries too much (and I'm the same All-His, I'll probably still worry a bit
) and ruin H's weekend by saying we can't go.
Is it bad that I want to bring a mask for her to wear while she's around us?! Ok, I'm kidding.......mostly
Dang it! My parents are going down this weekend, I wasn't able to get the time off
LOL
I think you'll be OK. Still don't let Parker make out w/ his cousin!:) LOL
