The Momma's check in below reminded me that we haven't had one of these for a few weeks either.
So, Moms-to-be, how are you doing?
I am doing good. Cody is gaining weight and getting stronger. Some of the exhaustion is coming back. I officially hit third trimester this coming Sunday. Can't believe how fast this has gone by.
Re: PG Check-In
I'm getting tired REALLY fast and my lower back hurts like all.the.time. Other than that doing ok I guess. Feeling her move a lot now, which is super cool. Sometimes it gets distracting though
Finally registered on Sunday, but I need to add a ton of stuff and we still need to pick out nursery furniture. Really need to get on that one. Oh and signed up for birthing and breastfeeding class. I'm waiting to see what pops up in Septmeber for breastfeeding classes.
I kept meaning to post this but kept forgetting when I would get on the board. Good work Shelley!
We are doing good. Pumpkin is growing a lot, which means I am as well unfortunately. He is super active most days. Yesterday I watched my stomach dance for a constant 45 minutes. We are starting on a lot of nursery projects this weekend and registering.

First I realize I totally suck and did not get a picture this weekend. I guess with the IL's coming over and all the time we put into projects I completely forgot, I was quite exhausted. I will have to be sure to get one this week especially since I am pretty sure she is starting to drop a little (thank goodness - even though the bladder irritation is nothing to eff with).
I have my next U/S next week and start Heparin as well. At our childbirth and parenting class we had one of the anesthesiologists where I will be delivering at in and he verified that I most likely would be able to get an epi. Yay!! (I am pro epidural and my Dr would not commit to an answer since it really is up to the anesthesiologists).
My back pain is still in the upper middle area and still pretty horrible, I finally cracked and started asking Scott to rub my back more often. I found my shiatsu massage chair cover but can't find the effing adapter. dammmmit.
Nursery work will be in full swing this weekend once we have our second coat of paint up along with the trim done.
Oh and we still are not sure on a name.
Excellent!
For those having back pain, I totally feel ya, I felt like a brick was in my lower back from like week 15 or 16 on. I dreamed of when he came out so I could really stretch and massage it!

I really need to go buy a new heating pad, mine sucks (too many hot and cool spots). I also reallllllly need to schedule a massage for sure.
*Summer* I totally daydream about being able to stretch. I desperately wish I could lay down on a hard surface straight on my back.
I never had a heating pad until getting pregnant. I love it!!! I was crazy to go that long without one.
BTW, I miss being able to lay on my back.

Things are definitely getting more and more difficult for me. Getting up off the floor requires a helping hand or strong piece of furniture. I'm peeing 8,459 times a day. My back hurts a lot. I'll be so glad to have an outside baby. I got fitted for a nursing bra and the woman made fun of the B-cup bra I was wearing. She told me it was ratty ($40 VS bra) and that the size was completely wrong. She said I was measuring at a D-cup, to which I laughed in her face. I've never been a C-cup let alone a D-cup. I think she needs her eyes checked because my itty bitty boobs fit in my B-cup bras just fine.
On another note, definitely making progress on the nursery. Crib, dressers, and 46" tv are in place ::grrrr::. Washed a bunch of stuff last night. Already lost 2 of her socks in the wash.
I guess I need one of those mesh sacks or something. I still need a curtain rod for the valance. Anyone want to recommend their shades/blinds? I guess I should get room darking blinds. The ones we currently have are white and the bedroom faces the east so it gets real bright in the morning.
Us either. I'll probably be in labor before we have a name picked out.
The mesh bags are great for socks, mittens and hats. I have black out curtains in Xander's room and close them for nap time.

I lost a sock already too. LMAO!!
We are taking care of curtains/window treatments this week. I really think I will just find something simple at Penny's or Sears to be honest. After a trip to Lowes thena 20 minute debate last night we decided against a double rod and for a curtain and cellular. I will let you know if I find anything spectacular. LOL
Dani, I hate when bra sizer people do that. I feel like they're always wrong for me. Once when I was a C, the woman tried to tell me I was an A. This last time I got sized they told me I was bigger than I knew I was (the cups had all kinds of space!). And how rude to tell you your bra was ratty (even if it were, you shouldn't say that when selling someone something).
We got our blackout curtains from Overstock. I've heard Target's are pretty good priced and quality too. I think the blackout curtains are the best purchase we've made his whole life. He gets the morning sun and that room can get HOT and bright because of it.
