What is your ONE most favoritist part about Camp Sunshine?

What is your ONE most favoritist part about Camp Sunshine?
It's like one big family reunion. Most of the volunteers and families that come to this particular week come EVERY YEAR. It's amazing how close we've gotten. I've been going to Camp for the last 9 years and it's amazing how I've literally watched some of these kids grow up. Not only have I gotten close to the kids, but to the parents as well. It's such an amazing feeling!

Are you going to run while your there?
Yes!! I've recruited 2 other friends of mine and we are going to run every morning before breakfast. It's about 3 miles round trip to the end of the street and back. We're all pretty notorious about eating TERRIBLE while at Camp and I'm hoping to change that this year, heh

How many days after are you going to need to regroup?
I'm always on Cloud 9 for at least a week or two after camp. I do tend to get slightly depressed when I see other kids though, hehe. This particular week used to be held in August but now it's in June and I really love that because it's the PERFECT intro to summer.

It's a water lily and a lily of the valley. They are the flowers for DH & I's birthday. Mine is the lily of the valley (may) and DH's is the water lily (July)

I do! The next one I want to get is a combination of the Fanconi Anemia Ribbon and the Camp Sunshine logo. I just have to figure out where I want to put it.
I also want to get my maiden name written in Arabic (Haddad) I have to find someone that speaks Arabic to write it out for me though. hehe don't want to get it wrong!!
I also wanted to get a paw print of my kitty that died last year, but we'll see about that one

1. What was your all time favorite concert that you ever attended? Worst??
Definitely my favorite by far is NKOTBSB. That was like a life long dream for me to see BSB live in concert and it was seriously the most amazing experience ever. Plus, it was at Fenway Park!!!!
I don't really have a worst concert as I only see artists that I really really like. I've yet to be disappointed with an artist/band that I've seen live

Actually not really. Most of the time it just felt like a minor pinch. There were certain areas that hurt a little bit, but I was talking and chatting with a couple of friends who showed up as well as my MIL! Easy peasy

What is your favorite dessert?
Oh dear, this is pretty much impossible to pick out. I pretty much will go for any chocolate dessert you put in front of me. However, I'm obsessed with lemon desserts like lemon bars, lemon curd, anything with lemon in it. Which is funny because I used to hate lemon.
However, my Mom makes this AMAZING Portuguese pudding where she buys this chocolate pudding mix (its portuguese) and soaks some Goya cookies (the circular shortbread kind?) in coffee and layers it like a lasagna. I could seriously eat that FOREVER

What is your favorite book?
This is also very difficult because I LOVE to read. I'm really into series books like Harry Potter, Sookie Stackhouse, etc. I REALLY loved the Hunger Game Series as well as the Millennium Trilogy. I also am a pretty big fan of the Outlander Series, especially because the books are SUPER long.I'm also a huge fan of the Stephanie Plum series
However one of my ultimate favorite books is Lamb by Christopher Moore. It's told in the perspective of Jesus' fictional best friend Biff and it is seriously one of the most hilarious books I've ever read. Like I've read this book on the train and started busting out laughing. And proceeded to get weird looks. It's probably horribly blasphemous but it's amazing.

ah- tour? it is not big, nor exciting. tho we do have Somerset Creamery which has the best ice cream on the planet. so you'll have to visit between April and October! LOL and sweet hopefully i can make it to the GTG! thanks lady!
