Re: Mom check in
Here is a recent pic (using the instagram app):
Doing great. The local pool opened, but we didn't get a pass. So I htink now I'll get my resident card and pay per time. As long as we go less than 15 times it's cheaper to do it this way.
Drew is starting to talk more. His favorite words at the moment are a tie between:
Wow (as in when the Subway guy gave him a cookie he exclaimed: wow, wow, wow)
and
Sh!t (as in when he drops something he says, sh!t...........hmmm where'd he pick that up)
Andrew jsut finished school and got a great report card. He has gotten high honors all year long. I'm so porud of my smart guy.
Chase has a busy imagination. He changes who he "is" everyday. Somedays he's Spiderman, other days he is Peter Parker (aka he lost his powers a la the 2nd movie), then we have random spurts of Batman or Robin. I think the cutest part is when he pretends Bella is Mary Jane and will say "Mary Jane- I'll save you" and she just laughs and plays along. It can also be confusing because Chase won't be hungry, but Spiderman will and Peter Parker won't, then you have to try and guess which person he is at the moment. I swear, never a dull moment with that kid. He is always making me laugh.
Bella is so sweet and yet such a drama queen. She is in this new "whiney" phase. She whine's over everything and if she gets in trouble for doing something she's not supposed to be doing, she'll come over and try to kiss you to make it better. Smart kid. Her current goal in life is trying to learn how to jump. She tries in her crib, tries jumping off the step, on the ground. No luck. Eventually she'll get it
We are leaving for our first family vacation on Friday and I am beyond excited. Chase keeps asking when we are going on the big boat. I can't wait to see his face when he realizes just how big it is.
Ava is doing really well and will be the big 1 in 10 days
I'm sad about her growing up but it's really cool to watch.
She is walking, talking like a lunatic and is just as spunky as can be. She loves daycare and has been doing great!
We were down the shore last week, went to the beach with her cousin and actually rode on some rides which she loved, loved, loved.
We will be celebrating her actual birthday down the shore and will be having her grand finale the following week.
That's a great idea, I'm sure you'll love having those pictures. I keep forgetting to post on FB but I had home envy after you posted that link. I may need to hire you when we buy a house to help me decorate it. I love how clean and uncluttered your house looks...nothing like mine lol!
wait, hold up-did i miss something? you're selling?
yeah we want to move to a bigger house, so we are in the market in west philly, manayunk and fairmount. manayunk is winning at the moment because the prices are so reasonable compared to west philly.
we are minimalists for sure, hence why i get all uptight about baby ATVs and ***. although we did put away our winter clothes for those pictures and our coffee table so our house is a bit more crowded usually.
Lachute - I am totally taking lessons from you. I looked at your pics too on FB and immediately wanted to declutter every inch of my house! You did a fabulous job with the decor. I'm sure you'll have no problem selling whatsoever.
