Seriously, the most entertainment I've gotten out of the internet in a long time. I was laughing so hard I had tears running down my face and Mia, who'd been in bed for an hour, was yelling down the hallway "Mommy? What's so funny?!"

OMG... DH and I are DYING over the chicken entry!!! It takes a lot to really get my DH laughing, and that did it. The picture of the chicken at her door (and the "knock knock motherf****r" caption) completely pushed us over the edge.
ETA - it's a few minutes later and DH is back to playing his NHL game on Xbox, but he's still periodically laughing and muttering the caption to himself again... this may be even funnier to see.

I saw that posted on D&R yesterday and I was laughing so hard at my desk I was crying, my co-workers must have thought I lost it!
I was reading through her blog and thinking, how have I not come across this sooner!
I was dying last night! I made DH read them and while he chuckled, he wasn't nearly as amused as I was. He has no sense of humor
I'm going to randomly text people with "15 YEARS IS BIG METAL CHICKENS" throughout the day today.
I need her to be my new best friend!! That is awesome! I'm sitting here at work laughing and people are walking by my office and think I'm crazy.

A friend posted the metal chicken entry up on FB and wrote something like who knew a metalcock was so funny?
I read it aloud to DH in the car and we were both dying.
My friend K told T and I that she wants a metal chicken and expects us to get it for her. T pointed out that we haven't been friends for 15 years, which left us wondering what 7 years is. So far we've suggested metal pigs, metal giraffes, metal hippos and metal aardvarks.
We have friends w/ a flying metal pig in their yard. No lie. It's made from an empty propane tank...
