She said I have to come visit. So I am.
OMGosh it has been a zillion years. I feel like I have literally crawled into a little cave and shut the world out. So.... everyone is either pregnant or had a baby since I last stopped in- CONGRATS to you all! I have been keeping up with pics on facebook (even if I don't post I do read). Any other exciting news?
I promise to come back more often. Really!
Re: Vikki made me do it.

The Dutch changed their laws and now require all non-EU residents to pass this massive 4 part examination or not get their visa's renewed. So I am enrolled in full time language classes at a local junior college. Right now, Americans who pass can also get dual citizenship. Once a citizen, you are ok for life- ya know? But they are also working on changing the law to (a) not allow dual citizenship and (b) require immigrants to take the exam initially, then a retake exam every few years. At the cost of the immigrant. So far the *required* program costs ?5000, but I happened to sign my contract just before the fee switched from they pay to you pay, so for me it is still free. Unless I fail, which means I have to pay it all back, plus a fine, plus I have to take the course again at my expense. No pressure or anything!!!! So I am working hard to fast-track my course work and take only 12 months instead of 18-24 months and hoping I make it in before the laws change. My head hurts from learning so much Dutch!!!!
Between Floor, Bri's little emergencies, and that, I have like zero time for much else. So I will try harder to pop in, but if I disappear for a few days just consider it another stupid flippin emergency in my life. GAH. I need a vacation from being a housewife. LOL
I had to clear my morning eyes when I saw your name pop up!
Why hello! We have missed you!
