I must tell you something funny! I sent my hubby to your food blog to find some new healthy recipes because I feel we are using our trusty favorites far to often. Anyway, what does he come home with? Baked Mommy Mac, Outback Chicken...pretty much the non healthy stuff :-). Gotta love him! He did get the mu shu chicken wraps though which I thought for sure he would bypass! He is quite picky since he was a beef and potato man when I met him...he has come a long way. Also, I have an app on my phone for spark recipes and I sorted it by low catrb, I found a ton! I am actually going to try spaghetti squash lasagna, eggplant pizzas, and I have pork in a yummy sounding marinade right now! Just another place to check out for more ideas if you haven't already! They have desserts too :-)
Re: Mrs.Reem
lol! My favorites too! ...but then I'm a meat and potatoes girl myself. Just ask my rear end.
If you leave the honey mustard sauce off of the outback chicken it's low carb friendly. OR you can try the bacon wrapped chicken recipe that's fairly new and sprinkle it with shredded cheese at the end for the same effect.
Mommy mac might be tough to convert to LC but maybe with whole wheat pasta it could work. Everything else in it is low carb.
I wonder how spaghetti squash would do in mommy mac sauce? hmmm...
OOh Ally, sparkpeople recipes is a GREAT idea!
