Lets talk about Dough Hutchison and Courtney Stodden
I'm surprised no one else has brought this up. He is 51 and she is 16. They were wed in Las Vegas. She is supposedly an aspiring country music singer and he is played in The Green Mile. What do you think about this??

I'm sorry but I don't think at 16 you really know what marriage is all about and are ready for that type of commitment. If I married the guy I loved at 16, I'd be divorced already and/or miserable.
She's probably searching for a strong male in her life...it doesn't sound like her dad is much of a role model if he's letting her get married at 16.

I liked the comment "He is a good Christian Man"...Ummmm No. He is a pedophile! Also the photo at the top of the story makes her look like a porn star. That is just seriously ridiculous.

I know I love how in that article her mom says "She never really thought about marriage".... um most 16 year olds dont seriously think about marriage.
I for one seriously doubt she is 16 and I think its all a ploy to get her name out there.
"Good Christian anything" is such a peeve of mine. It's as if being a Christian and being a good person are one in the same. I don't know why that bugs me so much, but it does! (Not for you saying it, but the comment).
I don't think anyone should get married at 16. No one. Not pregnant teens, not crazy people. No one. It's just wrong! Especially to a 51 year old man. Makes my skin crawl!
I'm gonna repaeat basically what was said on the relationships board yesterday about this:
1. too much plastic surgery on a young person can end up making them look older, which I'm guessing is what's going on here. Bleh.
2. a video was posted yesterday of her talking about something, I don't know I didn't pay attention, but based on her mannerism, her speech, etc yeah I'd believe she's 16... just with too much cosmetic surgery.
And, I didn't read the article - did they say how long they were dating before marrying? Cause uh yeah... THAT'S gross to think about too. Andplusalso, I can't ever get past that guy in any TV show or movie without seeing him as Percy in The Green Mile. Little ass*hole. ha.
Oh yeah, and THIS pic of her? WTF kind of parents allow this?
I agree with Nola that too much plastic surgery can make someone look older but I just have this gut instinct saying she's not really 16. The whole aspiring country singer thing threw me in thinking she's of legal age but they're all playing along to get her publicity in hopes of making it big which I can say just from her looks she will not make it with the country fans
