Re: who is the better cook...

  • Well H's mom is dead so probably me.  He has never talked about her cooking prowess though so I still assume I would win.  I know I am definitely a better cook than his step mom.
  • My H...LOL! His mom is definitely a more experienced cook, but she cooks food that isn't really up my alley. Meat and potatoes kind of thing. I find that H and I cook more interesting things...and spicier for sure.

  • Hmmm this is a tough one. His mom is an excellent baker. She use to make wedding cakes. I've never had anything she has made that I didn't like. I think H would say me thought b/c she likes to cook different and healthy things.

  • you mean when she's sober enough to put things together in a timely manner?? haha

if it were H he'd say her in the sense that she makes the fried pork chops, chicken and dumplings.

but otherwise he'd say me. I can create things without needing recipes and can follow intense directions and just generally can cook.

  • H's Mom. H cooks way more than I do so my cooking hasn't really gotten better over the 3 years we've been married. When I do cook it's not bad, I just don't cook often and don't have a ton of different recipes though.

  • Hard to say...she doesn't cook often but I know she makes a couple great dishes. I think beyond those few things though, her cooking skills involve opening a can of Dr. Pepper and a bag of Sour Patch Kids for dinner (seriously) so I'm going to go with me.

  • Me. Have to say it. I'm a pretty good cook, I really dislike eating at their place.
  • Me. I am better than both his parents and mine. I am not trying to brag either. I enjoy it more and therefore do it way more often. My mom and his mom both were hamburger helper type cooks.
