Now I get why
girls claim they gain weight on the pill. I've never had a problem in the 12 years I've been on it.
This new pill I was on for a whopping week made me want everything sugary that God has every created. It sucks. I'm so glad I already switched back to my old pill. Holy mother.

Have you tried switching to something else? Because I know all BCP's act differently.
The one I was on was the same brand as the one they switched me to, just the low dose. It's amazing what a little change will do.
I haven't had weight issues, but my insurance forced me to a different generic than the one I was taking and it caused acne, big time... and supposedly it was the same drug.
I just pay more now and get the original one. I'm going to the Dr. to see about options for getting off of them all together in a few weeks.

That's odd that the generic would do that to you, but the regular drug doesn't.
Hope you find a different method of BC that you like.
For that reason you can ask your Dr. to prescribe the brand name, he/she can write in the Rx no generic substitution or brand name only.
