Amelia is sick. She is out of sorts and has a fever. I brought her in to the doctors yesterday just to make sure she doesn't have an UTI like she did last time she was sick. I am going on my girls weekend trip with my mom tomorrow. I swear that girl knows when I'm about to leave for grown-up vacation time. She got sick just before Brian and I went to TX and was sick most of the time. Nothing like a case of mommy guilt to make the trip more enjoyable.
On a cute note, we watched the daycare camera as Allison got to school this morning. We watched Allison go down the slide in the lobby and Mia kept asking "where is me, where is Mia?"
Hope that she feels better. Poor lil kid!

Hope you and your mom have a great trip and that mommy guilt and your mom's walking problems aren't major issues.

Its just a virus. We saw the other Dr. B - Mira's Dr. B.
Early childhood has driven me to loathe the phrase "just a virus." Sometimes a virus is the devil. I think of that Dr. B as Mira's too.
I am right there with you. Totally daydreaming about vacations as I do my work...
I am awesome! How awesome am I you ask. I'm so awesome that I locked myself out of my office today. Yep I'm that awesome.
Lucky for me I had my phone and was able to get ahold of my Dad who was still at work so I could get back to the house and grab another pair for keys.

Had a dream last night that I was held captive on a train full of ancient Mongols. I know this to not be reality, but I still can't shake that weird dream feeling.
On our kitchen table is a small bouquet of dianthus, chamomile flowers (like tiny daisies), coreopsis, and lavender.
Amelia is in her glory having the house to herself. She was playing in Allison's room, which also serves as the playroom. She took every single piece of play food out and was a combination of four Disney Princesses playing dress up. I will have to post pictures.
We are going to pick up Allison. Part of the plea agreement to get her to daycare this morning was that I would pick her up after nap.
This weather is making me grumpy!
June is XN's favorite month, and we haven't made it out to a picnic/games in the park (our summer evening tradition) ONCE yet this month. I can tell it's bugging him.
And then the phone rang and a ray of sunshine entered your life. ha ha.
I had a dream that we were being held hostage in some form, I think the dream started wtih us being on locked down to prevent "the bad guy" from coming into the building we were in.
I couldn't shake that feeling either this morning. I didn't feel rested this morning.

Just Florida in October. I guess I spend a lot of time dreaming about hypothetical trips.
I feel bad for H, he has 3 weeks of vacation that need to be used up by the end up October. He will probably be spending them alone at home. My vacation days are pretty much gone. I guess I feel bad for me too, since I will be at work while he's at home. Haha.
I daydream about Ireland a lot. But we aren't going there until my 30th birthday, which is 3 years away.

Ha, who knows. We might push it up. That would be sweet, actually.
My list is so long of places I want to go. Sigh. Hawaii. Ireland. Back to Australia. Back to NZ. Back to Aruba. Tahiti. Bora Bora. Moorea. Alaska. Spain. Greece. Italy. And on. And on. And on.
Our 5 yr anniversary is next May, so we'll probably do an international or Hawaii trip for that. Maybe we'll move Ireland up for that.
I can relate. I'm already doing research for our Europe trip next year, and my problem is that I want to go everywhere! How do you fit England, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, and Italy all into a 10 day trip? Ha... I need to narrow my list down just a tad. And B recently said that he's interested in Germany, so that complicates matters futher. But if he's interested in Germany -- we'll spend some time in Germany. I'm happy that he's interested in something.
