Does this gross anyone else out or am I just odd?

So, since my husband and I have gotten married we are not using condoms when we have sex. We are doing it pretty frequently and I started to get really grossed out about all of the semen that has been in me. I don't know why it creeps me out so much! Will I just get over this eventually? I can't get over the fact that it can stay around for 5 days in your body. I know I think about everything too clinically, but that is just because of my career. Please tell me I am not a psycho!

Yeah, I think its a little odd. Just go to the bathroom and clean up after you finish. Its not like it continually leaks out of you for five days

your not odd IMO...it kind of freaks me out too! I imediately run to the bathroom afterwards to let it drip out in the toilet and then wash up! Makes me gag alot of times...but I just deal with it. I am a freak about things to begin with, and I get grossed out easy. The last thing you want to do is make your DH feel like you are grossed out with him. That's not the case at all, it just the feeling of warm liquid stuff dripping out! Believe me, I get it!

It's never 'freaked me out' but i'm always super grossed out when I can smell it the next day... like it leaks out and makes my panties smell. Yuck!

Sperm can live up to 6 days inside of you. Semen is just the medium sperm uses to travel out of the male and into the vagina. You can do kegels right after sex and get all of the semen out of your vagina. The sperm leaves the semen right after it enters the vagina and starts heading into your cervix. Watch the great sperm race on youtube. If you are not TTC, he can pull out if it bothers you so much.

you need to clean up RIGHT afterwards. Always make sure you urinate after sex also. For me, a hot, wet wash cloth cleans well then i use my blow dryer to make sure everything is all dry. If it just sits in there you can easily get a yeast infection or bladder infection (I did!).

FI and i dont use condoms either (im allergic to latex and am on high hormone birth control.) it grossed me out at first because it just kinda comes out when you sit up and it looked weird.. youll get used to it. promise.
