Helping out a friend, t&p please.

One of my friends is leaving her husband. She's been trying for a long time to work it out and he refused to go to counseling. She saw a counselor alone but just doesn't feel it's working. She's coming to stay with us for a couple of weeks or so until she figures out what to do. I hope they can work it out as it saddens me to see people so young breaking up. They got married very young though after dating just a few months and she thinks that is part of the issue is that they were blinded by the novelty of everything and as they've really got to know each other they are realizing they work better as friends. She's very religious and feels judged by her current church as they frown on this type of thing, so I referred her to the priest who married us so she could speak with someone without feeling that way. Poor girl. Send her your t&p as I know she could use them.

  • *thinking of your friend*

I am in in almost exact situation (minus the religious stuff) with a close friend.  The details are unique, but I'm glad we can be there for them...

I hope her staying on your sofa goes well...my friend will only be staying a few nights over the next 2 weeks.

  • t&p go up for you and your friend.
