Ok now trying to figure out if people are doing both, or if people would really be more likely to do just one date. And actually if you can please post a comment with your response so we know who's planning on what that would make it even more informative for planning!
Looking at the comments (unless anyone speaks up otherwise), it looks like the 14th would be more convenient. I was attempting to do one Sat and one Sun so those who had weekend preferences would be likely to make one of them but at this point it doesn't seem like that is the preference.
AND if we do Sundays, those of us who are coming from a few hrs away could even come up Saturday afternoon/evening and stay overnight like Stacy suggested! I would be game to do that, bunk and split the cost so it's not so painful. Just a thought to be worked out later . . . :-)

I don't care what day, but I just want to chime in and say I love the idea of traveling up on Saturday with everyone and staying the night. I already talk to DH and he is game with me going, so I'm officially in! Woohoo!
ETA: Also, the Megabus is only $26-$50 round trip out of Baltimore, depending on what time of day. I know the price goes up the closer to the time you book, but it's an idea that's a little cheaper than the train.
August 14 is the only date that would be possible - we'll be in San Francisco on Sept 18. But August 14 is looking questionable after speaking with DH last night, so I don't know if I can make either.. sorry girls - hopefully next time!
I don't know if we have enough people, but we can probably get a block of hotel rooms at a discounted rate for the September weekend (especially if people are flying in). It won't have to be anywhere fancy but I can do some digging if we are interested. We can double up, each get our own, whatever you guys want.
We can look into that more in the next few months, just an idea!
I voted September 18. I could most likely make that date but not any in August.
@Cindy: You should go! If I do go, my connecting flight goes through Detroit so I could "pick" you up..lol
When I was looking at flights, it was cheaper for me to fly in Friday and leave on Monday. So I'm game for the hotel room or if anyone wants to amuse me for a few days
. DH was thinking about coming because we had wanted to go to NYC this fall anyway. So if he does come along, I suggested that maybe he could hang out with Laura's DH on Sunday....Laura!?!?

I'm really sorry you won't be able to make it, I did my best to try to arrange something that you'd be able to join in! We will definitely have to do more of these and make sure you come!

I could do either but the 18th of September is a little better for me plus might not be as gross and hot!
Mel if you come in early I'd be happy to see you early though at current moment we lack guest sleeping quarters. And if DH isn't traveling he might be game for a city visit!
I can't do the weekend of Sept 18, family coming in for an Orlando Trip and we might attend the Marc Anthony Concert in Orlando that weekend.
Aug. for me!
Thanks Lisa!! You've done an awesome job arranging all this - I know how hard it must be to get everyone's schedule together!! Hopefully next time
We will be in Cape May on August 14th, but Sept 18th is perfect!
I live right outside NYC and have a spare bedroom plus a sofabed in the living room, so I could "host" a couple of you. You have to like cats though...
I just responded to the other thread, sorry to be late to the game, but here's a synopsis: I can commit to the 18th of September, but am iffy on the 14th of August. So probably for me it would be better to just plan on 9/18. And yes, if I come, I plan to bring Mixmaster Milo., if y'all don't mind my little guy crashing the party.

Yay!!! I'm so glad you will be able to join! I think the 18th will be the best for the most people, and we will have to plan another one, maybe in the spring, which hopefully we can get another big group and esp the people who miss out on this one!

Awe! He can totally crash!!! But he'll have to deal with a lot of "Aunts" that day - hope he's a ladies man

Hey guys!! Sorry so late :-) I'm working from home today, and for some reason when I'm home I rarely think to "nest"!!!
My coupla cents: Definitely the 9/18 for me! I pretty much decided to settle on that one, so that I could free up August for birthdays, quick trips and a few other things I'll have going on that need to be settled soon.
I am super-duper excited to meet little "mix master Milo!!"...you gotta dress him in a little Patriots onesy, Kiki...OK?
After thinking about it further, if (and it looks like we are!) we decide definitely the 18th...then I'm pretty sure that I will come up on Saturday and stay over. My (hotel) door is open if anyone would like to bunk out w/me!!
Most definitely!!! Can't wait to go pick out his "Sunday best" outfit!
And Marick, haha I think Milo is getting used to all the ladies cooing over him... maybe I should call him LL Cool M... !
