Anyone used Texas Tubes as an outfitter/ launching point for tubing the Comal? Opinions?
I'm planning a small group tubing trip in mid-September for my sister's bachelorette party and the Comal seems the safest bet in terms of however the weather conditions may be affecting the river levels at that time.
I have little experience with that area, though, and would appreciate any thoughts you guys have on a good meet-up/drop-in point for our float trip.
TIA
Re: Tubing - Comal River
I haven't. But damn I wish I was tubing the river right now.
Have fun!
I tube the Comal at least twice a week.
Today, we did Schlitterbahn.
My favorite tubing outfitters are Landa Falls and Texas Tubes. Landa Falls is the longest tube on the Comal. If you decide you want to use them, email me at TxGolfGal@aol.com. I can send you some coupons.
That being said...we have our own tubes so we don't normally use tubing outfitters. My folks have a vacation home near the last public exit.
