Ok yeah I'm sobbing at my desk right now.
My godmother died of melanoma when I was 14. I was baptized in March when I was 13 and by September she was dead. She agreed to be my godmother knowing she didn't have much time left. But she guided me well into my faith and I believe her spirit has stayed watching over me. I have another story to share about that but have to collect myself first.

Saw this on FB. DH's mom died from cancer that started as melanoma and spread. :-(
