Visiting with 2 & 4 years olds

We're visiting Cincy next weekend to see family but are looking for some age-appropriate activities for our 2 & 4 year old boys.  We'll definitely do the aquarium.  Does Kings Island have enough for their ages to justify the prices?  Are there any other, maybe lower key activities you'd suggest?  Our family is in the West Chester and also Colerain areas, if that makes any difference.  TIA!

  • I don't have kids, but my friends with kids have season passes to the zoo and their kids really enjoy it. I know there is a children's area there with a petting zoo which would be fun for them.

I would suggest posting this on the Cincinnati bump board as most of them have children and can give you some better suggestions.

  • EnterTrainment Junction is awesome if your kids like trains, and there is plenty to keep the adult men interested too. There is plenty at KI for little ones, but if you want a cheaper option, there is also Coney Island and the Beach Waterpark. There is also CoCo Keys, which is an indoor waterpark, but I haven't been there. Hope you have fun!
  • I'd definitely post this on the Cincinnati Babies board- you'll yield more responses as that board is more active.

That said, there's tons to do.  My almost 3 year old loves Kings Island and the Museum Center (Children's Museum).  The aquarium is also pretty cool, or you could go to the zoo.  Ditto Entertrainment Junction.  The big question is what kinds of things do you want to do?
