Re: asparagus clicky poll
I learned today that this was genetic - bodies producing the funny smell and/or the ability to smell it. (It seems they aren't quite sure which it is, or maybe it is both.) Anyway, maybe you guys already knew this, but I was curious how our small sample stacks up. Apparently, statistically speaking, 50% of people have funny smelling pee after eating asparagus.
I know it kind of freaked me out the first few times before I realized what it was
My Ovulation Chart
JJ and I both get it. Whenever I make asparagus he always has to comment about it. I'd rather not know... lol
haha in my house I'm the one commenting! I bet Darren would agree with you.
My Ovulation Chart
Haha. This is our house too. It always amazes me how immediate it is.
That's one for v-dubs baby book! haha
I had read about the genetic aspect of it before. Interesting stuff.
From Wikipedia: It is believed most people produce the odorous compounds after eating asparagus, but only about 22% of the population have the autosomal genes required to smell them.
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?

Cilantro tasting like soap or dish detergent is genetic too.
I'm in the cilantro sucks because it tastes like soap camp.
This hurts me
I could eat cilantro like lettuce leaves!
