Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I'm a NOOKian
I've finally joined the modern world and gotten an eReader. I chose the Nook because I wanted to be able to get library books on it (even though I've discovered that it's not a simple as I thought it was). I got the newest one that is completely touch screen but still eInk, and it will take some getting used to because I keep expecting it to look/function like my iPhone. 
Anyone want to give me some of the finer points of the Nook? Anyone want to explain the Lend Me function, and subsequently be my Nook Friend?

I have the older version of the NOOK. I haven't used the LEND ME feature, but I think we have to link up through our Barnes and Noble accounts. I would love to be your Nook friend!!
I will post a thread in a few days for gathering Nook friends, so be on the look out for it! Right now, I'm overwhelmed by having 2 library books on my phone that I need to finish so I can't focus on playing with my new toy!
