The turkey

This isn't the greatest picture, but you can get an idea of how freaky the thing looks.  Indifferent

Re: The turkey

  • Turkeys are the ugliest things ever made.  Just a little fun fact - FIL got one stuffed last year, it will be Dhs when the time comes Indifferent

  • Aww! the fawns are adorable!  (And so is that new pic of Emma!)

We used to have families of baby turkeys in our yard back in Kalamazoo.  It was so funny to watch the baby turkeys try to fly.  They would get about 5 feet off the ground and land on branches on our pine trees.  They looked like bowling balls perched on the pine trees.  The branches would start bouncing up and down, swaying under the weight of the turkeys, then the baby turkeys would fall off...  Then they would do it all over again.  It was extremely entertaining!

Turkeys have always creeped me out.  There's a ton of wild ones up north and I've never liked them.  Even baby ones would probably scare me. Embarrassed

Thanks for the comments on Emma ladies!
