I get to bookend this week with a Happy Monday and a Happy Friday post. So what are you ladies up to for the weekend?
Tomorrow we're going to a Food Festival sponsored by the Museum of Science. It's totally free if any of you is interested in checking it out too (and if you are, let me know so we can find each other and at least say hi! I'll be with my family so I can't really GTG per se). There are several great local chefs and other food-related folks who will be there.
After the festival we'll probably head over to a local park where our friends are setting up some volleyball games.
Not sure what we're doing on Sunday yet, but it might just be a chores/errands kind of day.

Re: Happy Friday!
Rock, that sounds awesome! I wish we didn't have so much to do at our house tomorrow... I really want to go to that!
FIL is coming down tomorrow to grab some things from our place to bring back to their place since we don't have room to store them... and we need to start painting. I also think we're going to assemble the crib. Saturday night, we have dinner with friends.
Sunday- hopefully painting again. DH is not on board with painting but I'm hoping to pressure him into it... we need to get it done.
Yay! You know how I love the Happy Monday and Friday posts! :-) I think we should start regular posts here, just to keep things moving. AW Wednesdays, Thankful Thursdays... Two Things Tuesday? Haha. I don't know if we all have that much to share, but you get the idea.
Rock, your weekend sounds awesome! You and Ginger always seem to have fabulous weekend plans.
We have no big weekend plans. I'm getting a hair cut on Saturday. Annnd... That's basically it.
I still think it's funny you (and others) say that because we often feel like we don't plan enough for our weekends and end up doing a whole lot of nothing, or just chore-type stuff which I hate spending a whole weekend on. But maybe I should give us credit for doing more than I realize
I found out about the food festival from my sister and we just decided yesterday that we'd all go. Should be fun! And I get excited for haircut days; I really don't do them often enough, haha!
I'm up for trying any regular posts you want to do. Maybe it'll make the lurkers come out and play more (so weird that our little board even has lurkers--come on out guys, we don't bite!).
Sounds like fun, Rock! Enjoy
We're heading down to PA for a family birthday, and picking up a few odds and ends from our old house. First showing is Saturday!
Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010
Don't drink the water.

Rock, that sounds like a lot of fun.
Today - I got my haircut! I think I lost a good 5 inches. It feels so light now. I was also planning on going to run some errands and do some shopping but I don't know if I'm feeling motivated now. This cold and rain is really doing horrid things to my mood. I feel sorry for my hubby, I'm totally being cranky today.
Saturday - We are having a small family party to celebrate Lil's birthday.
Sunday - Lil turns 1!!! I can't even believe that it's been a year already. We may celebrate by going out and buying a new carseat because she is close to bypassing the height and weight limits (oh, and my parents gave us a check to buy a new one for her birthday so we should probably do that before her birthday is over).
Yeah, let's try next week and see how it goes!
Happy Birthday to Lil!!!

And getting a new haircut always feels so great. But I feel you on this weather being a total downer. It's worse when it's been dreary over multiple days like it has been this week.
DH is out of town until Sunday so I'm all by my lonesome.
Tonight: running errands after work to get stuff for the apartment.
Tomorrow: unpacking, organizing and cleaning. DH's aunt and uncle are coming up to visint MIL, so they're going to come over and see the new place then we're all gonna grab some dinner.
Sunday: BPICS!!! Eeeek!! I'm a little nervous cause I haven't fully picked out my outfits yet. I'm sure a run to Victoria's Secret will be in order on Saturday. I also am bummed because I want some sexy hair, but I don't know how to do it myself and I'm too cheap to pay for it. And I'm certainly not feeling like my body is quite ready for this!
A free food festival. Jealous!
We were hoping to go to a baseball game tonight but the weather may not hold up. I have no idea what we'll do if we don't go.
Tomorrow I think we are going to the aquarium. My IL's are in town and already driving us crazy. MIL will not stop pressuring me to leave DS alone with her and "get away" (hello, I just spent 5 days away from him last week, I don't need to "get away" from my baby...) so that has been really annoying to listen to.
Tomorrow night we are grilling and hanging out here. I got a lot of steaks, chicken, and kabob stuff to make. I also got green tomatoes so I can fry those.
Sunday- I don't know, but we have to plan something because neither DH and I can sit in the house with his parents all day.
One important thing I didn't think about for my Bpics was high heels. Luckily my photographer had some there. Even if you don't see the shoes, having them on adds confidence. I was lucky that my session included make-up & hair, especially since it was the day after my bachelorette party and a was a little hungover
Just relax and have fun with it, you'll do great!!!
Today....marks a full week of being unemployed ( I didn't count vacation time). Still struggling with my resume....ugh! But I bought some awesome Interview outfits yesterday that have totally boosted my confidence!!
Saturday...DH is doing more side work in Boston, and will take the car. Guess I'll keep working on stuff around the house.....and the resume, job hunt.
Sunday....The Phantom Gourmet BBQ Beach Bash....we go almost every year and I'm so glad they moved it back to City Hall. Meeting up with a few friends there. Forecast looks good for a beautiful day, sand in my toes, yummy BBQ food, and a beer or two
I love the idea of doing regular posts!
DH and I just grabbed dinner, and I am so tired. I can't wait for bed. Tomorrow we have nothing going on which makes me so happy because I have a ton of errands and cleaning to do. Sunday we have a family party to go to!
