Oh Jeni...Where art thou?

Just wondering how you are doing and what's happening these days?  Any luck in the TTC arena?  Are you busy with wedding gigs?

Miss you!

Re: Oh Jeni...Where art thou?

  • Hey lady! I've been around, for some reason I haven't been as talkative - though I'm  not sure why. :)

I've been very tired lately and Jeff has been sick in ways that are very scary, so I have been spending a lot of time on my couch. I have been busy with work on a daily basis, but this week I didn't have anything going on outside of the house so I ended up being pretty lazy. I have a wedding tomorrow that I'm getting amped up for - the couple is awesome and I can't wait to see them all dressed up!

I don't think I'm depressed, I'm just SO drained. I got my period two days ago so no positive tests as of yet. I've been doing some reading up on ovulation and I think that my ovulation tracker is wrong based on my (TMI here) discharge and the way it changes in 30 days. I think my ovulation is one week later than what the chart says, so we're going to try a different approach after Sunday when my period is over.

I watch the board everyday, I just found that I couldn't bring myself to talk for some reason. No worries - I'm still here! :)

    love, jenifriend

  • Been there done that!  Hopefully you and DH feel better soon.

RE TTC:  I read a lot of different books about fertility too.  Definitely helps to know what is going on.  Have you read Taking Charge of Your Fertility.  It's a highly recommended book on GP and has very useful information.

  • Have you done the OPKs? It was actually helpful to know what days to "go for it." Mine ended up being right on track with the android app that I use, which I figured it would be based on my TMI-stuff. : )
