Re: recipe for play dough

  • I saw something for an ediable play-dough, it had like peanut butter and flour in it, I"m not for sure on that!  I think the 'real' stuff is age 3+,
  • Jen posted something a while back.  It was a recipe for edible dough (I have it on my fridge, but not at work).  It looked cool!  I will try to search for it on here.

  • Playdough
    1 C flour
    1 T oil
    1 pgk Kool-aid
    4 T salt
    1 C water
Mix together. Cook over medium heat until it forms a ball. Let cool before handling.

    Gak
    2 C glue
    1.5 C water
    Food coloring
1 C water mixed with 2.5 t Borax dissolved in it
Mix together first 3 ingredients. Add water and Borax mixture. Knead until firm.
(I thought Borax was highly toxic? I used to play with this all the time though!)

    Silly Putty
    1 C white glue
    1/2 C liquid starch
Stir until thickened, adjusting amounts as necessary. Knead until completely mixed. Mixture should be solid but stretchy.
