Possibly moving to West Chester PA area

I would like to live in the West Chester area.  What are your recs for towns to live in?  I have a dd so school is important as is safety.

TIA!

Re: Possibly moving to West Chester PA area

  • PA is a giant state, so I suggest putting West Chester in your post title.

Then, recs for what?  Places to live?  Places to apply for jobs?  Places to eat?

How old is DD - public, private, parochial?

Safety like... is West Chester safe?

Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!
  • Done - thanks!!
  • Dub C native here.  Knowing that anything can happen anywhere, I would consider west chester a very safe town. The public school district is good, there are also great charter and parochial school options. Downtown West Chester (Market, High, Gay Streets) is a small resturant/shopping district.

  • I live in WC and I love it.  Great small town, lots of shops and restaurants, good schools, access to highways, great parks and rec.  I would consider it a safe place to live.  DH and I moved here about 4 years ago and we are very happy with our decision.
