Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

DC girls - photography question
Do any of you know of any good maternity/newborn photographers in the area? I was hoping maybe one of you had a rec from a friend or something who recently used someone.
Obviously I've been google-ing around but a lot of them seem cheesy. The one that I really liked seems over-priced.

Thanks! This is actually the one that I like, but she doesn't include digital negatives (you have to pay an extra $1500 for them). Maybe that's the norm, but it seems pricey to me.

Yeah, pictures here generally are really high, so I guess it didn't surprise me? Maybe keep eyes out for a Groupon or something?

Rach, Helen John is a great friend of my friend N; she has done some amazing photos of N and family, including photo shoots with both of N's newborns (and she includes the dogs of course!).

I didn't use them for my wedding photos but I had already booked one after I found them. I did use them for my video though. I'm not sure if they do newborn photos, but I like their photography style in general.
