  • I eat bacon and cheese every day as part of my diet.

Yes  I love this. I have to admit that I eat bacon and cheese pretty regularly also. Maybe not every day, but at least 3/4 days a week. I tell myself it's okay because it's always light cheese and the pre-cooked microwave bacon, not the big thick slices that you cook in a frying pan.

  • I just made a list of all the things we need to buy/do for the house and prioritized it by importance. I definitely put the things I want higher on the list than the things DH wants, and possibly higher than some things we should do rather than want to do...I'm sure I'll reorganize it later but for now it's staying that way.

  • I'm not going to ask my realtor about buying a new fridge for the house. If the buyers ask, I'll give an allowance, but if no one brings it up I'm leaving the fridge space empty.

ETA I have puppy fever like hardcore. I'm obviously not going to act on it, but my mom has been a little less closed off when we talk about fostering. In a couple months when things have settled down I'm going to really ask her what she thinks about fostering one smaller adult dog or an adult cat at a time.

edited again because I'm an idiot.

FWIW, we looked at plenty of short sales that were missing appliances. Our relator told us it was actually pretty common.

That makes me feel better. The buyers will probably replace all the appliances anyways since they're pretty old.

  • I am not looking forward to naming this little girl.  I get anxious thinking about it.  It seems so hard!  Where do you start?  How do you pick?  What if the name doesn't suit her?  And now, I am pretty sure I've somehow sold DH on a name I'm not even sure about myself.  I'm crazy!

Same here. We had to buy a fridge and stove for our house. If it was included in the contract they may question it though. I know I would.

  • DH ordered surrond sound. It was delivered yesterday and it is much bigger than I imagined. The box weighed 140 pounds! We are in a big disagreement about which room it is going in. It is also going to require buying more furniture to semi hide half of the equipment. AND he thinks he is mounting speakers ABOVE it in the family room, like right at eye level.
  • I'm over my cooking blog. The only reason I'm going to try to blog every few weeks-ish is for my sponsorship $$

Mine is regular cheese and pan fried bacon. :) But, I've been eating low-carb-ish, which has made a huge difference. When I first started it I was still in a low-fat mindset too and I was always starving. Now that I'm allowing myself to get enough calories from proteins and fats, everything is much better.

I use WWs so as long as it fits in my points I eat it. It's not exactly how the program is supposed to be used (as in they want you to balance different types of foods and make healthier choices) but it works for me. I definitely make healthier choices overall but I would rather eat the low fat version of something so I can have chips or bread than cut out all the carbs. It's just what works best for me. Everyone is different though.

  • So yeah, I think I ovulated yesterday, which means this is going to be a LONG two weeks. Stupid husband. He's been joking around all week about getting a Vasectomy too. It would certainly be the definition of irony!

Sadly, when I looked at my temp this morning, my first response was a complete lead stomach. I'm over it now, but going to feel so bad if it actually does happen. Especially since my first response to Jonathan's BFP was, "Oh $hit!"

Haha. When DH goes on his golf trips, I always make sure I have a stock of pizza rolls or frozen pizza and chick flicks. It's awesome.
