I recently got called to go in for a second interview on Monday morning, but I've never actually had a 2nd interview before. I'm not really sure what to expect because I'm fairly certain I'm meeting with the same person (a state legislator) and probably the same aide I met last time, though perhaps there will be either another aide or another legislator there as well.
Does anyone have any general idea of the purpose of a second interview? I felt that I asked all the questions I had about the position, and I mostly laid out everything I thought I bring to the table. I'm trying to rack my brains now to come up with more stuff, but I did so much "homework" for the last interview that there isn't much I haven't covered yet. I'm just doing a little more research about the policy issues so I'm prepared to talk about them with more detail on Monday, but is there anything else I should prepare for?
Thanks in advance!
Re: Second Interview
If you think you might be meeting with new people, think of questions for them.
I'd also ask some questions that turn things around on them, like what they're looking for in a candidate.
