I think they should hope that she gets life. I really don't think she'll be safe outside of jail.. They'll have to move her to antarctica

I have no idea. I don't know what jail time would be for any of those charges.
Oh. Just looked @ that faq thing.. It says up to 30yrs for the manslaughter charge and 30 yrs for the aggravated abuse.
I think i'll be surprised if they don't find her guilty of at least child abuse.
I didn't know that the jurors don't know which ones are alternates. That's interesting. I guess it keeps everyone paying attention since no one knows who is an alternate.
but, that would piss me off if I sat through 15wks of this shiz and then what I have to say didn't even matter.
I hope they get her on something! I think you're right, I think she's much safer in jail!!!
I just keep thinking about how screwed she is no matter what. Even if she were acquitted of everything (I don't think that will be the case, but let's just say IF), WTF is she going to do with her life? I mean, even if she just walks out of that courtroom as a free woman at the end of this, she has clearly already been convicted in the public opinion. So regardless of what the jury says, even if she gets acquitted of all charges, people will always think of her as a baby killer. What do you do with your life after that?
It's just such a shittty situation all around, for everyone involved - for Casey, for her family, for the taxpayers, and obviously for poor Caylee. Awful, no matter which way you look at it.

I know I should have more compassion but I don't feel any for Casey. Not one bit. I don't buy that it was an accidental drowning and I think she played a part in that child's death. And for that I wish her a tough life, in or out of jail. I can't even imagine disposing Macy in the woods while I was out partying and screwing everyone under the sun. No way. I can't justify her actions with mental illness. She's not crazy. She's evil.

True story Kathy. As a mom I cannot even imagine having knowledge of something bad happening to my child and not harming the person who did it. For real. Certainly would never hurt him myself.
I think you must be a much nicer person than I am. Frankly, Casey screwed herself, this situation is shitty because she made it that way. If it was an accident (and I don't think it was, personal opinion there) she spun her own web of lies and now she's caught in them. If it wasn't an accident (I think that's more likely) the DP is not even strong enough for her. I do feel badly for her family and everyone around her, they are suffering because of her actions.
Who knows what she'll do with her life, I'm sure it will involve a lot of $$$ though - book deals, movies, etc. She will continue to live as the horrible person she is and Caylee never had the opportunity to live even as child because that option was taken away from her.
Couldn't have said it better myself. It makes me sick. If she gets off, she's going to end up in a Lifetime Movie I'm sure. That is until someone takes her out. The general public has found her guilty and I'm sure she's safer in jail. However, we shouldn't have to pay for her to be there.
