Re: Highs/Lows for the Week
Highs: my sister got back from her vacay, lunch was catered in twice this week, had a good dr's appt with my new endo
Lows: only really have one and it may turn into a high, so I don't want to jinx it... (plus I think I have lurkers)
Highs: Won our appeal with the city! It RAINED! My vacation is just 2 weeks away!
Lows: AF came to town and I've gained 2.5 lbs despite working out. I hope it goes away when AF does.
Highs: Got to see older DD's for a couple of days. Oldest DD has no issues at all with her new braces. Great workouts and a lower number on the scale.
Lows: Older DD's back to their dad's for two more weeks. BIL cancelled sis's 30th birthday plans that I've been working on for a while.
highs: my danielle had a baby. It's a miracle and they didn't announce she was pg due to her health issues. But she had a healthy 6 lb 5 oz baby on Wednesday. Baby is PERFECT and mama is struggling but doing ok.
lows: all things pale in comparison to the high. :-)
I'll echo that high! Amazing!
Highs
-I'm going to complete the 1st week of C25K today. It feels much easier this time and I feel more determined and focused.
-Lunch with a friend yesterday
Lows
- Uncertainty at work in regards to DH's job. :-(
Crazy Christmas Kids!
That is amazing! Praise God for miracles like that baby!
Highs: IMFun's miracle friend!
Lunch & dinner with friends
the absolutely hilarious video I took of Cooper yesterday that made my week
Lows: we need to replace the insullation in the attic (cha-ching) and a few other things, that hopefully will help with the a/c issues
my washing machine started doing something funky last night...I've got about 5 loads that have to be done so that I can pack for our vacation
very unsure/uncertain about work and what to do
I've not worked out in a few weeks because of time and I haven't focused on my diet and it shows. I'm mad at myself for it, but time in the evening has been spent doing other (work) stuff and my stress level is just too high to focus on counting points. After vacation, I made a vow to get back in gear!!
YES! YES! YES!
Jess, may I ask what her prognosis is? I'm just curious....is she doing better overall?
Highs: Found out DHs truck needs minor work, I'm home from vacation, Free lunch 2 days this week, lost a few pounds while on vacation, tomorrow's high : NKOTBSB!!!
Lows: Came back from vacation, audit at work, head is pounding
not sure... I don't think the doctors prognosis is good but that hasn't stopped her from defying the odds so far.
She doesn't have dying on her planner for the next couple years. <grin> and I say that because she has EVERYthing planned.
And because her husband says that.
High: Starting clomid, I wish we didn't have to go down this route to have a baby, but that is the situation & I'm so happy we're blessed enough to have a great doctor & the finances to do this.
Low: Feeling sick & crazy because of said clomid. Confirming that we have zero insurance coverage for IF.
High: Spending the week with my "neice"; kids have been really good; caught a movie last night; girl time at bunco
Low: Rough Monday morning with Avery resulting in both of us having bad days.
That is WONDERFUL!
highs: the three-margarita early dinner with kel at berryhill. i know i talked her ear off, but man it felt good...lol
it was very uplifting reading IMFun's new-auntie status report!
lows: DH's windshield is cracking and he has to get it replaced.
back injuries. i'm so tired of them. i want to be healed so i can start working on my core strengthening so the muscle strain won't happen so frequently. it is miserable to be in pain all the time. i know there are people whose lives/injuries are far worse than this, but still. urgh.
my photography blog
High: My family, friends, and health. Vacation next week
Lows: being RIF'd
Agreed.
Low- Didn't get a job I interviewed for
High- Had a lovely birthday
