Girls weekend location rec's
My girlfriend and I are looking to get away for a long weekend this fall, probably mid November before Thanksgiving. Any ideas?? She lives in Raleigh, so we were thinking somewhere in between, but if you can think of anywhere else that would be potentially inexpensive, please suggest!

Charlottesville is a little haul from Raleigh, but would be a fun place for a girls weekend. There are a ton of wineries nearby that are fun.

We recently did a weekend in Charlottesville and loved it. We did a wine tour through Arcady Winery. It was awesome!
Definitely not inexpensive, but a weekend at the Greenbriar would be nice and it is sort of half way between DC and Raleigh.
You might also checkout the Washingtonian's weekend getaways articles. They have a lot of different suggestions depending on what you and your friend are interested in.
i know this isn't somewhere in between raleigh and here but my girlfriends and i are going to this in october.
i'm super excited.
