Thankful Thursday
Let's hear it! We have been sloooooowww here. Probably because we have all been enjoying the first couple days of SUMMER!
I am thankful that DH got a new job...this means he set for life and doesn't have to look for anymore inbetween jobs in this economy. Another pay cut but he will be able to work up the ladder.
Thankful for the fact that I was home today when a lawnmower hit a rock and it broke our sliding glass patio window/door. The lawn guys are taking care of it and the glass company is coming out soon to take measurements. Luckily it is a double sided window so only the outside layer broke. I would have been mad if I came home from work to find that and not known what happened!
And thankful that for only subbing in my local school district since January and yet I was invited to the teacher picnic this afternoon because I was a "regular". I love that school but know that they will not be hiring for many years due to budget cuts, lack of enrollment, and being a small district.

I am thankful it is almost Friday. What a week this has been, 4 more shifts til holidays, 4 more shifts til holidays....
I am also thankful that me and my best girlies are going out tonight for drinks to celebrate our friends up coming wedding. I get to dress up and wear heels like a big girl
I am also thankful that my DH got a new job recently too!
He started a couple of months ago, but it's made a HUGE difference in his paycheck.
I'm thankful that tomorrow is Friday. I'm also thankful that work has been *relatively* calm the past couple of weeks. I think a lot of clients are out on summer vacation this time of year, so here's hoping that keeps up for a while!
I'm thankful that I have my DH by my side. He's so understanding and wonderful. This is TMI, but this month, I went off the pill because my sex drive is officially down to nothing. I'm doing the charting thing but I'm obviously freaked out about everything and of course DH is so understanding. He has been for the past several years too, as we watched my sex drive tank! I just hope it comes back a little as time goes on!
Finally, I'm thankful that we're getting a 2nd DVR on Saturday! Allegedly, we will be able to watch recorded shows in our bedroom which means I'll get to keep up with Days of Our Lives a little better, hahaha!
