Yay! It's finally the weekend. This week has felt incredibly long, at least for me.
Does anyone have fun plans they care to share?

Performing a really big wedding ceremony.
The Mr. is out of town for the weekend. I will enjoy the peace and quiet while he is gone, but anxiously await his return.
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
I wish I could find cool free things like that on the curb! Have fun turning it into something beautiful.

Cookout and game night with some of our friends on Saturday evening.
If the weather holds out, maybe we can finally get some yard work done. It's been a constant string of weekends that either we've been busy or the weather has been crap. Hopefully we can start whipping our yard into shape!
My Blog
Writing a final paper for school. Boo.
Tomorrow, we need to go shopping and get DH some new clothes for the new job he starts in July. YAY!
Sunday, we are going to the carnival in the town I grew up in. My sister and I go and play bingo every year since it is something my late dad did with us as kids. I'm also looking forward to fresh squeezed lemonade. yum
This weekend is my H's ONLY weekend of freedom this summer. On Sunday he starts studying for his Board exams and the schedule is pretty rigorous.
We are trying to get in as many summer activities as possible this weekend: bike ride, picnic, trail run, drinks/dinner on a patio. I'm not working on my dissertation this weekend so we can enjoy the weekend together. Can't wait!
Today when I get off at Noon I'm going home and taking my new bike out for the WORLD'S longest bike ride!!! I am so excited.
Tomorrow we have a wedding and I plan on getting my drink on, it's been a while!!
Sunday recovering from the weekend, and probably showing houses.
It's BF's birthday so we are doing all things that he wants to do:
Getting chocolate cake from Cafe Latte.
Driving to IA to play craps.
Eating at Red Robin. Yum.
Going tubing down some river and drinking beer.
We're kind of going out.
Are you going to Diamond Jo's?
Melinda - your weekend sounds awesome.
I don't have any real concrete plans as of yet - which is just fine. After this weekend we have something going on from now until Labor Day. After work I am going to run then H wants to go for a walk at one of the lakes.
Tomorrow I hope to get a long run in the morning, then we plan on hitting up Warners Stellian for a new dishwasher. I am going to hug it when it gets delivered. Maybe pick out some carpet finally for our basement. Then maybe meeting my BIL and SIL for patio dinner/drinks somewhere.
Sunday I have no plans! Yessss.
Boy/girl twins born at 37w1d and 37w2d
We are. Have you been there? Is it crap?
We're kind of going out.
I haven't been in it but we always drive by it on the way down to Des Moines to visit DH's family. Every time we pass it is bigger! With more lights! Shiny! Bright! Money! Yay!
Oh sorry...I got carried away. Have fun!! :-)
This week was one of the most challenging weeks I've had in along time and I still have to work tomorrow. Working tomorrow is worth though because I get a 4 day weekend next week.
Tomorrow while I'm at work DH will be tearing down a fence and the basketball hoop. I love when stuff gets done and I don't have to help
Then in the afternoon DH is installing some carpet at a friends and they are feeding us dinner. Sunday is my sister's bridal shower. Busy, busy, busy.
my read shelf:
DH works 3rd shift, and has OT all weekend. Tomorrow I am getting rid of many plants the previous home owners thought to plant sporadically around the yard. (There really is no rhyme or reason), then we have my BFF's daughters 1st birthday.YAY! I love giving presents to little kids.
No plans for Sunday. DH's birthday is Monday, so we might catch a movie or something of his choosing. Because Monday night... sshhhh!! I am taking him to dinner where I have invited all of our family and friends to join us
I really hope they show, and also that it's still a secret by then.

I am so glad it's Friday I have been chasing 8 3yr olds all week at VBS (plus trying to get my teenage helpers to do more helping then playing). Sadly this is not going to be a slow weekend for us. We have a birthday party for one of Aiden's buddy on Saturday then on Sunday we have church then a lot of fun at the water park in Eagan.
We're going to see the Corpse plant at Como tomorrow and my nephew's 2nd b-day on Sunday.
Tonight is drinks and dinner with SIL and her FI.
Should be awesome!
Tonight: Going to get LO's first hair cut, Aldi's trip and then going to dinner at Pizza Ranch
Tomorrow: Family Reunion in WI and then will stop at a Graduation Party on the way back through.
Sunday: Another Graduation party and hoping to go to the grocery store.
